Replace exhilaration

Make survival bandages baseline for all hunter specs.

Mending bandage is much more thematic for hunters than a random instant heal.

Also much more useful to be able to bandage people in all content.

no thanks
id rather have a fire and forget heal instead of a channel that does 0dps that random tick damage can break (including a cooking fire)
now if we remove the channeling aspect in PvE, that’s a thought and im definitely down to discuss or even support that

you rather do damage then keep the tank up? interesting player. i wonder if all casuals think the same

why yes, i would rather dps on my dps spec

@‘casuals’
weird to suggest that the pure dps class should stop dpsing to do something a hybrid class would/should be doing
exhilaration is a hunter’s only defensive cd in effect since turtle is generally used for soaking or cheesing mechanics
your suggestion flares casual far more than mine does

Replace a defensive CD with a channel to cast on others to keep a tank up at the expense of my primary role??

My gut reaction is, no thanks, though that would have to be one mighty bandaid for the level of damage tanks soak…

Still a no, I think.

Compromise.

Let me cast Mend pet on players. I promise that I’d do it on CD. Especially a Bear tank… It would bring me great personal amusement to mend my pet, the tank.

I’ll even macro it to say ‘Who’s a good boy? You’re a good boy!!! Yes you are, yes you are.!!.!’

I like to see mend pet be changed to be called Mend and give both hunter and pet health regen and rebalance it and just toss out Exhilaration in my opinion. This is best idea.

Scare Beast works on Druids in shapeshift form.

I think both Mend Pet (on friendlies) and Tame Beast (on enemies) should work as well.

Mend should be a self-cast only that also targets the hunters’ pets… Hunter doesn’t need to be able to heal other allies even if there is a druid in one of their forms. Mend pet just needs an upgrade to self-heal also and toss out Exhilaration into the bin.

No, that is my tool to piss off sin rogues and feral druids. You want to use it? Pick up your polearm bro!

So you don’t drain life when your low on your lock? it’s only the healers job to heal right?

R u dum?

/10chars

a) i dont have a lock lol
b) it’s my job to avoid avoidable dmg and dps so no, i wont unless im absolutely going to die and there’s nothing that can be done otherwise. it’s entirely the healer’s job to heal someone, it’s in the name
c) this isnt the lock forums???

i eagerly await your next goalpost moving session

ok, but what if u did have a lock?

Let’s say you have a hunter then, you are saying you don’t wanna spend 2 seconds healing someone or yourself, and cleanse debuffs, if you could?

you don’t use traps to interupt? is that a waste of a global to you too? like LUL what?

damn dude u dont disappoint

no, i wouldnt waste 2 seconds using a fragile heal that will probably break before the channel is over
i do far more effective healing by killing the mobs before they can kill the group
and i do use traps when asked or when it’s obviously catastrophic/detrimental to the group to have an add cast something or be up w/ another pull, but im playing a dps to do damage, not to be some group savior

stop talking to me about healing when u dont even have your resto talents selected either way, looks pretty bad for someone trying to talk about being a team player
almost like you’re responding entirely in bad faith

The Arbalest has it in Darkest Dungeon, and it’s actually a nifty heal skill.
