Repeatedly using item restoration

Is it considered against the Terms of Service to repeatedly use the item restoration that’s in game, to disenchant or re-sell items that I’ve already disenchanted?

The limit is 5 per day, is it against the rules to do that 10 days in a row? 15?

Test it and report back.

It doesn’t matter. Do whatever you can get away with until you can’t anymore, then find a new trick, con, scam, hack, or exploit. Repeat until bored or rich.

Are you using this to level your skill? Sounds immoral/cheating in my ears, but not against the ToS. I remember the CD on this being way longer btw.

he’s fishing for multi-crystal de’s

Re-trying in the case of bad result or how?

Yup, if you get 1 then you restore the item and try again until you get 2

Not quite. Items I disenchanted into large brilliants, when restored, are now disenchanting into Nexus crystals. They’re worth more, I am using it to make gold. Is that against the Terms of Service?

Legally - No idea. Morally - yes.

I don’t know if there’s specific language outlawing it, but I could very easily see it falling under the exploit category.

Cheating

You are responsible for how you and your account are represented in the game world. Cheating in any fashion will result in immediate action. Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.

Emphasis is mine, be careful and stay safe.
