Repeatedly camped, then I was astonished. WOW

Really? Another one of these anduin knights fanfiction threads? Thought we were done with those

No, this is basically a self advertisement for a guild who prompt their members to post on low level alts with 0 posts.

They’re basically here to sell you something but poorly disguised as “people that care”.

Ahh that seems a lot more probable

I have fought alongside these knights myself. They are an elite group of killers with one goal in mind: kill any horde that cross their path. You may not see them often, but when you do you know you are in good hands.

A fun was witnessed this day.

If you see horde raids, call them out in General Chat and get in touch. Form up resistance locally. Install addons like Spy or Weiz to help keep an eye on enemy presence.

Always focus healers first, DH keeping an eye out for rogues shrouding priests mass rez.

Our communities have 7500+ members so if a leader is on they will probably hear about the raid and organize a response. If you would like to join a Cryptid’s League Community or wpvp with Anduin’s Knights, follow Spaventoso’s directions above.

And don’t forget your elixir of tongues!

It’s good when that happens, right?

Yesterday, I was returning from a tortollan quest in southwest Stormsong, when I found a goblin rogue almost killing a warlock. I jumped into the fray and helped turn the tide, killing the goblin and saving the warlock. As I continued my path towards the nearest flight master, I found out the goblin wasn’t alone: he was part of a 4-man group harassing Alliance players on the way to the tortollan quest. The other three Hordies, one of them being a Holy paladin healing the others, were fighting two noble Alliance, and again I joined the fray.

The Horde goblin and the Alliance warlock also joined the battle, and together we Alliance were able to vanquish the Horde fiends.

It was an awesome little fight, and I really felt like being the hero helping my fellow Alliance win despite the slight disadvantage in number and healing.

For the Alliance!

(By the way, celebrate being Alliance in my Alliance pride thread)

I find it’s more entertaining to get naked and dance like a pleasant :joy:

Why does this sound like an RP event?

Is this Role Play event?

Would love to join in.

But they are of interest to some people, so if it helps them in being a part of the group, it was a good commercial.

This sounds fun, usually it’s just one raid vs five people from what I’ve seen. :\

:joy: well that’s some amazing incentive to join

WPVP is awesome when ‘the other faction’ actually forms a group to go curbstomp ‘the camping faction’. If you’re levelling a toon, Outland Hellfire Peninsula is actually highly active too. There’d be nights where Alliance and Horde would chase each other around for hours smashing Thrallmar and Honor Hold, and those three forts would change possession every few minutes on some nights. I was on Emerald Dream server at the time.

Edit: Another fun WPVP story was when my guild formed a full raid of 20 or so players, used that blizzard store mount with the hitching post to all get the same mount, and flew in on Goldshire. We owned the place for a few minutes, but then an alliance raid comprised entirely of dwarves showed up. We were on discord laughing our asses off while the dwarven army destroyed us. Moments like that are very rare - usuaully it’s just some random 3-5 people camping a flight point, and 20 other people get mad and form a group to run them off. Outland on Emerald Dream server was the only place I’d seen outside battlegrounds that seemed to be in a constant state of war.

No, as a new player what I experienced was absolutely amazing after having a hard time getting camped. Judging by everyone’s comments it appears people already know about their activities.

The feeling of being chased down and getting camped was not fun, but what happened later gave me some hope, not just this now I know how to call them if people are getting camped which is absolutely amazing.

I just wanted information on how to get involved, I got that.

Is it me or does the title of this thread (and maybe even the OP) look like a Buzzfeed article?

Simplest way for information in the future is right-click whisper one of your saviors. Use control-tab to target a friendly player out of the mob and click on the drop-down to whisper them that is. (And maybe a second whisper minutes later after the fight since they’ll likely miss a whisper while fighting.)

Also for skeptics about whether this is a covert guild ad, it’s still an entertaining story I’ve seen unfold around the game plenty of times.

Cringe advertisement.

It all happened just too fast when the Alliance raid came, I was intrigued, but they left quickly after killing them. I did not even think about whispering them. Later I thought I should come here and ask, someone would know.
