By all accounts this gear should be in the game, and it doesn’t say otherwise or that it is any where. I put in a ticket and they couldn’t give me an answer. Blizzard any idea? Farmed out the rep to honored to get the gear to save time, honor and tokens especially being horde with long que times. Any idea on where this gear is?

you gotta be kidding right this gear is not from the phase 1 content
So that’s why Blizzard nerfed honor gains, and made everything take forever, they wanted you to grind rep to buy the pieces…
Wowhead says they were added in Phase 1. Right hand side ride under Added In Patch info https://tbc.wowhead.com/item=35366/opportunists-leather-gloves
Yeah, but if you look at the original wowhead, it shows it “added in patch 2.4.0”
Just cause wowhead says it should be in Px doesn’t mean it’s correct.
Ontop of that, if you look at the comments for this item there is 0 comments from before patch 2.3.3. Which means the comment during patch 2.3.3 is most likely made during patch 2.4 PTR.
The problem is first, the patch we are on for TBC Classic is 2.5, and the gloves I linked were data mined from the TBC Classic data base not original TBC. The comments, just like from classic, were taken from Thotbot and original TBC not current TBC classic. None of those comments pertain to the current version of the game. The second problem, as I have pointed out in other places as well, is the gear data mined for the rep pvp gear has the same stats and set bonuses as the gear on the pvp honor vendor in Org, just with a different name. The original set when it was released had stats that were not nearly as good as the current gear you got from the honor vendors when 2.4 hit.
So TDLR the gear data mined from TBC Classic isn’t the same as the original gear.
