If you aren’t going to bump rep gains ~ at least add something that if you do revered or whatever on a certain faction in SL, there can be an item that gives a 100% rep boost. Perhaps BoA for alts.

They did this back in MoP and I actually liked it. Sadly they stopped after that.
I didn’t play then but heard about it, shame it’s not done in SL.
Kill rares get spiffy rep tokens. Pandaria was the best I miss it so much.
I think being a dopamine rat, seeing big rep rewards for even killing a rare would be nice. I’m hating the small numbers this expansion lol
That and tabard rep where it’s 15 rep a common mob and up to 300 per boss in old legacy dungeons were the best, that’s how I’ve been knocking out the rep for mounts the past year or so.
WoW’s current problem is it doesn’t let the product stand on it’s own merit and hasn’t since about the end of WoD. It just seems they have no faith in their own handiwork.
There 'ya go. Why aren’t they doing things to entice players like me instead of giving me some small ways of getting small rep. That way of design is evident in other parts of SL.

10 rep? So after 50 WQs I get a bonus 500 rep? I mean that “sounds” good on paper, but not in a world where WQs were designed to take much longer than in the past.
I’m not even sure there are 50 WQs on the entire map on any given day.
At least reps were somewhat in a decent state in early SL where none truly felt required (at least as it applies for contracts - since they didn’t really do much for venari or korthia or zm).
I would probably change contracts so that it increases rep gains by 50% for the given contract for that particular rep. So for example, Kyrian contract gives 50% extra rep for Kyrians, but only for Bastion WQs. So you go from 125 per WQ to ~185.
This way you don’t have to clear the whole world map (just zone - ~ 6 wqs), it does feel meaningful, but not too op (you finish the rep grind in 1 day). Can people min/max by swapping out contracts as they enter each zone? Sure. Might be a good thing, then contracts won’t sink to selling for crafting cost so fast.

Exactly. The WQ’s were done in a way that when you look at rep vs time spent, it doesn’t feel worth it. When the WQ rep buff week comes around, it just feels like that amount should be the NORM I guess I’d put it. It feels better.
Yup, … 10 rep just feels like an odd way to go about it. Too much ‘classic’ mentality in SL.
You can still blast WQs in the original SL zones, and the calling. If you do all of those, and Korthia, that’s generally an extra 250-300 rep/day. As always, it adds up.
300 rep per day for doing every world quest? I’d unsub if I was faced with that kind of torment
Adds up, sure, but in no way does that feel good or even worth it vs how I’d feel mentally after doing all those WQ’s.
If you guys don’t want the extra rep, don’t use the contracts. You’ll be fine without them.
It’s a marginal increase, just like the 15 agility enchant on my boots is a marginal increase. That’s how professions work.
You don’t see me screaming RAWR THAT BOOT ENCHANT SHOULD GIVE ME 50% MORE AGILITY because that would be absurd.
What are you on about. I’m not even talking about player power dude. Can we stop with the elitist talk. The rep rate of acquisition sucks this expansion for the most part IN MY OPINION and think some buff for rep even on vendor would be nice. The 10 rep contracts suck.
Sadly this “rep gain” system we have now shows how creatively bankrupt blizzard is: Or just lazy at least in this current time frame we can only hope they get better moving forward.
The rep gates/weekly quest gates are just a way to drag progression down to a halt because they have nothing creative in the world to have us do. They keep funneling us into smaller and smaller zones and just put another layer of “things to do: but make no sense” Perfect example - The new mount system, I can say i both LOVE and HATE it: Rare enough to find the pattern needed but then I need to farm 3 other super rare (well motes are not rare but still) Resources to maybe make the mount? That’s just silly: Creatively lacking on blizzards behalf.
Or even flying: Rather then gate it add threats to the sky: And sky islands to explore - Make mounted flying combat (PVE ONLY!) to make flying interesting not: This group don’t like you enough so your…dragon is shy to fly? wut?

purely obsessed with gating or mop style would of never went away cause i sure had way more fun in mop style than what shadowlands is.
