As far as I am concerned, good. Anduin is actually one of the few characters freaking trying to make the world a better place. No he isn’t perfect because if he was you wouldn’t be here criticising ever minutia of the story surrounding him. But he does keep growning and trying his best. Good enough for me.

I liked Renzik a lot while doing the campaign on PTR. He was the only character who was felt they could improve society in Undermine. Even Gazlowe, who is otherwise optimistic about the future of goblins, was very negative toward Undermine itself and wanted to work on bettering stuff outside of there. His stance was “if you want a better life, get out of the city”. Renzik was the only character who really believed they could make Undermine better without people needing to leave behind friends and family.

It’s because he grew on me during the questline that I was initially dismayed by his death, but it’s actually handled very well. He takes a sniper shot meant for Gazlowe, and his sacrifice is the spark that sets off the proletariat revolution in the finale as everyone picks up his ideals for a better Undermine. Gallywix basically turns him into a martyr. There are goblins in the crowd during the last quest saying how he was a legend in their neighborhoods.

Even the supposed Horde Patch has Alliance characters making it all about them.

Gonna be honest with you, I don’t even want to have character development for her. We have to follow an elf around for now and next expansion will be elves galore. I don’t want yet another elf.

Personally I’d rather Vereesa or Alleria Windrunner to be the ones getting the axe in Midnight

What I’d love more is if one of them was trash-talking the Blood Elves (as usual), suggesting with a barrier none can stop them from what they’re about to do … Only for them to suddenly gasp, splurt blood – and have Valeera Sanguinar’s face appear over their shoulder, holding a knife in their back: “There’s ONE ‘disgusting’ blood elf … You forgot about.”

Then when they rage at her, calling her a traitor & stating they were Alliance – have Valeera retort:

• “No. I’m loyal to Anduin Wrynn. Not the Alliance. Not the Silver Covenant, nor the High Elves or the Void Elves. To the Wrynn line. I still hold pride for my people, the blood elves – and will not tolerate you blaspheming them. Period.”
