Normal Stone Legion Generals and Sire Denathrius both dropped a Renown (didn’t test other bosses). Calling daily quest gave a Renown too.

Its a random drop when you are behind the Renown Curve .
I like how they did they the catch-up system I’ve swapped and played 3 different covenants so far. Every time was easy to catch up.

Question, when switching covenants, do you lose everything? Anima? Conduits you’ve collected? Structures built?
You lose everything except conduits.

I caught up so fast I overtook my main’s char when I forgot the week had reset… the only downside is there isn’t really a reputation catchup, the souls you need for the covenant upgrades catchup, or heck there ain’t even any ketchup.

Out of curiosity what is the max a person can have their covenant renown at at this stage.
I prefer mustard to ketchup anyway.

The current max is 12 I believe.

yesterday i was at 5 on priest and i was like, meh ima try and get some. was able to get to 11 very easy. my callings had 2 O.o
What else did you do to catch up so fast?
callings had 2, 1 from 5 souls in maw, 1 from 1k anima and then i forget, maybe bgs? cause thats all i was spamming. the priest is literally not even started on chapter 2 yet o cov story too.

Yep. But it’s ez to catch up. You can catch up in a day if you do the covenant quests.

You dont lose anything per say, your old convenant will still have the anima stored, the ability specific counduits and structures there. Your new convenant however needs to be built up.
Callings and mythics.
Your new convenant will be renow 1, your old convenant will still be whatever levle it was.
Takes 1 week to go back to your convenant. You do a grind quest then next week have to do the same quest and you automaticaly join the old* convenant with everything in there.

Ok so I can swap like right now, and start the new covenant instantly, but just have to regrind the renown.
Ya, took me 2 to 3 horus to go from renow 5 to 11 in NE convenant.
Its quite fast. The buildings however are a pain.
