I’m disappointed because this week I wanted to max my renown and I failed miserably. I’ve been lagging behind because I spent all my time since the launch leveling new characters and gearing them up, but I wanted to unlock all the renown goodies and mount customizations. I never missed an Aiding the Accord weekly quest, did most of the dungeon quests too, and managed to complete Loremaster of Dragonflight even. Where is my renown after all this work? About 11, 13, 14 and 21.
Is is normal to still be this low? I’m only about halfway done!
What did I miss for crying out loud?

do repeat hunts
the cooking
sieges
and the quest with the black dragon flight
Yea, I started on Christmas and sitting around 19/15/16/22. There’s no reason to ‘feel behind’. There’s no race and you’ll get it as you go.
You can do the weekly stuff like the Wrathion/Sabellian quests, Feast, Centaur weeklies, etc etc… Those give big chunks of rep.
I did a lot of those too, only different characters I suppose. I was expecting this would be done faster I guess, expecially after hearing of people maxing in a month or two. Maybe they were lying? People don’t lie on the internet do they?
I’m not sure if you get rep in dungeons, but if so, that might be one way. I play casually if it helps.
A lot of people no lifed it and pretended it was just a passive accident that they capped everything in two weeks. That whole e-peen flexing mentality.

I am 3,5,10,2 for Rep and I dont feel like I am missing anything not being capped.
You probably never will be truly maxed anyway it’ll probably be an ongoing thing like shadowlands was have fun

I maximized all four Renowns on my Evoker main weeks ago…
It should be something that is done organically and not something that people feel the need to rush. However, Blizzard locked the main story behind it and you can’t finish the main story until DE rep is lvl 24. Quite annoying and not worth doing.

I’ve been super casual about it, frequently skipping out on things. I also started late. I should still finish Dragonscale this week, Tuskaars next week or the week after. I finished Valdrak and the Centaurs already.
Most of your renown is going to come from world events (e.g hunts, feast, siege), token turn-ins, and WQs. If you’re skipping all of that and only relying on the weekly quests you’re going to take a long time to make any progress.
I don’t know about that. 3 months and I am almost 30. now if they add more ranks to that then that will be another matter xD
focus your time on one character and the others that follow get bonus xp just did soup on my 4th alt and got 3k rep lol
You’re not wrong…but the bad thing is that the pieces of the story locked behind renown are not really worth unlocking.
Very disappointing overall for the effort required to get there.

I kind of see them doing it and adding more cosmetic just to keep people busy. More ranks incoming.
It’ll take me between 3 and 4 months to max all 4. Played casually, except for those few times I hustled to get a particular renown reward.
I feel really behind too, and I only swapped mains once.
My highest is 28 (Valdrakken) and my lowest is 14 (Centar). I’m 20 with the Expedition and I need 24 to continue the story.
I don’t care about renown because there really isn’t anything tied to it but profession recipes. I only make stuff for myself… My main character is like 15 across the board.

The same person writing this story wrote the major portion of the story in SL… I knew it wasn’t going to be worth it… which is why my last post… Not busting any effort towards it because its him writing it.
