I have 3 covenants at renown 80 and 4th by the weekend. Here are my observations.
Once you hit renown 80 with any covenant, the mounts and 9.1 transmogs are account wide. You cant transmog them until lvl 48, but they are now open to all your characters.
The 9.0 sets still require you to do the campaign to unlock them, but once you unlock them the transmog is open to other classes of the same armor type. No matter the renown of the unlocker.
Example:
My hunter is renown 80 with Venthyr. So like I said, all venthyr stuff is unlocked.
My Paladin did the campaign and unlocked the 9.0 plate armor set. Now despite the paladin being only renown 55, because my hunter is 80 my warrior (only lvl 50) has access to the plate armor set.
So from a transmog perspective, once you unlock a set, it is open for others of the same armor type if you have renown 80 on any character for that covenant. You would still need to run a plate, mail, leather and clothie through all 4 campaigns to unlock the 4 armor types. But you only need to be renown 80 in all 4 on a single character.
But, they said there was a campaign skippppp…!!!
There is. For your soulbinds. You get all 3 right away as long as youve completed that covenant’s campaign once.
Other things to be aware of.
If youre on an alt and skip the covenant campaign, you cannot do the extended quests in Korthia until you do the covenant campaign. You can still get renown 80, but your alt wont get the 2nd part of the quest line until you do part 1.
Also, if you are renown 80 you keep both your 40 and 80 titles on that character. They of course are not account wide. Your alts only get the ones they earn and only when in that covenant. They still are removed if you swap to another and didnt hit 80
I hope this answers some questions. Posted in general and it got buried since it wasn’t a complaint post
