Does getting the Rend buff just get harder and harder as fewer people complete the quest or run UBRS? Does anything ever change to make it less rare? I think I read something about a repeatable quest at some point but couldn’t find good info on it - any chance that’s coming to Anniversary?
I’ve noticed it’s been really difficult to get the Rend WB these last couple weeks, and it seems to be getting worse each week.
Basically yes. On classic Era we actually make new characters over time to prevent a shortage. This is also the situation with Heart and Head.
The repeatable quest is a monthly thing on sod
Some people want boosting banned because of RMT reasons but the downside is this particular problem would get worse if that were to happen. If f they ever ban it they would need to put a repeatable quest in for it.
Or you just don’t get the buff?
i think in theory there should be plenty plenty enough people to never run out of rend buffs.
there are 16k horde characters that are active (maybe slightly generous of a number), of course not all of them are in level range for rend, but according to IF Pro 13.5k raiding horde players are active.
in theory we should never run out of rend buffs, or at least not for a good while.
even if 50 players dropped rend every day since launch it still only equates to around 8k buff drops. there should still be plenty in theory, but i suppose a lot of people may have dropped the head while buff was on cooldown.
maybe more than 50 drop it per day though and we have expended the supply. i dunno
in any case, i havent really noticed it slowing down.
Put it on a set time each day win give to alliance as well.

We need stormrend, and repeatable rend on horde side (similar to ally rend)
your fundamental assumption that you absolutely need these buffs is false 
Hopefully they bring might of stormwind into the game again.
Alas, the meta says otherwise. You will stack world buffs in an ancient version of the game and like it.
AN dthis is why Survivor of the Firelord is so much better then any other title people earned it
Blizzard should fix this soon.
Please make Rend like Nef where timer doesn’t matter, and make it repeatable like on SoD.
Would be a nice change this rend buff stuff currently is annoying.
the word “fix” implies that something is broken what you want is more accurately described as a feature request
or just remnove world buffs from raids like SoM but then I guess big magic number on 3rd party web site 
Or just add might of stormwind.
Where did I say anything about needing the buff muppet.
