With it being a talent and no longer a covenant ability, and with it now getting a lovely new animation, the current name seems entirely out of place. I think Spear of Valor would be more fitting. The new animation has a nice glow that feels reminiscent of the Halls of Valor. And all warriors have a connection to that place (in spite of the recent beef with Odyn). They don’t all have a connection to Bastion.

“Spear of Bastion” doesn’t even remind me of SL tbh. “Bastion” means like, “something that gives protection from an enemy attack” and I kinda view the skill that way like… “I’ll hold them off!” idk, I feel like there are bigger fish to fry with other abilities lmfao

i liked the barbaric darkside of SL…
maldraxus/revendreth/the maw…
but bastion and fairyland was way too much

I liked the zone itself, just hated everything in it (except the Stewards), and tying the covenants to your classes and abilties is/was bad, not!angel empowered spears is not everyone’s class fantasy for a warrior.
They are are using glyphs or soemthing so people can keep the SL effects if they wish
Rename it to Unga-Bunga. Rename all warrior skills to a series of grunts and startled chimpanzee sounds.

Technically within the lore, we didn’t ‘stop being soulbound’, so technically we still have access to Spear of Bastion.
Just also wish they let us pick which Covenant ability to decide on between the four, I would go psycho for Chain Harvest in my AoE build.
