Without Titan Forging, it’s going to be a huge challenge and take longer to be able to step into more difficult content such as heroic/mythic raiding.
This WILL affect casual players because now we have to progress our gear the more stressful and time consuming way instead of playing at our pace . Some of us enjoyed getting competitive loot from TF because it made the transition to harder content much smoother and we got to play the content we wanted.
This is not fair!
Now we’re forced to progress harder content with lower quality gear or wait a long time in between heroic Darkshore to get anything that will help us.
I suggest bringing back Titan Forging for all gear under Mythic quality 475 gear, but you can limit it to a max upgrade of 470 so the elite players can still feel special with the highest item level gold star.
Please don’t destroy the game for casual players.
Thanks

It is perfectly easy to gear up without Titanforging and there is still plenty of ways for casuals to do it without obscene casino mechanics.
The game is ten times better off without Titanforging.

You’re wrong. Give me examples of how I can “easily” get mythic quality gear without doing mythic progression?

You can’t and that’s what’s good about it. You should have to do hard content like Mythic +, do the actual raid, high level PvP, or otherwise to get Mythic raid quality gear.
You can still do all the content in the game at lower ilvls, just do normal instead of Mythic if you don’t want to put the work in to get enough gear to get into Mythic.

As someone who was casual and benefitting from it, its better gone.

As a casual player who hasn’t touched a single normal raid in BfA and maybe 1 mythic+…good riddance to Titanforging. It made a lot of things unbalanced.

Why do you need that gear for “casual”? If you want to mythic raid, you should gear via heroic raiding and m 8-11s (up to 460 gear at 11s).

Wait why do you need mythic quality gear if you aren’t planning on doing mythic progression?

You might want to read my post again chief.

I meant the transition into mythic raiding just became much harder because now we have to rely on heroic item level gear to enter instead that little extra boost we got from TF upgrades.
Now we will go back to the days of Blizz just nerfing the boss or giving us a damage buff after a couple of months so the casual players have a chance to get into harder content.
TF is better imo

Umm, I think this is the point.
And 475 is still available in the mythic+ and Rated PvP weekly chests.

I see people say this as something Titanforging fixed but I’m fairly certain they still nerf bosses so uh what exactly was TF doing to stop that?
If you are planning on mythic raiding I kind of feel like you are alright running heroic and the like to get gear, if you are entirely hoping on titanforges while playing “casually” to get into the mythic raiding scene how does that exactly pan out? You just do emissaries and warfronts until you brute forced your ilevel so high you apply for mythic guilds? They wouldn’t take you anyway as you have shown no desire for raiding in general lol.

Yeah i love corruption forge it just gets the balance and wrecks it in half instead feels good man!

Oh, that isn’t the greatest system either for balance. I was talking strictly about Titanforging.

there’s one corruption they’re gonna have to nerf by another 80% of so to make it in line with other traits. it’ll be interesting to see how all this shakes out. lol.

Casuals
Mythic raiding
Pick one, just read the forums for a bit, literally everyone here hates raiding for some reason, they don’t even want to try it.
Corruption is better if you’re a casual, some of the corruption effects do thousands of more DPS than if you had a 470-475 piece of gear with no corruption.

Just because Corruption isn’t well balanced suddenly means Titanforging was a good thing.
There is always the option of neither of these things instead of one or the other.
This has to be a joke or you just don’t comprehend how things actually work.
A corrupted piece is certainly a higher quality than non corrupted piece.
In many cases, the corruption effect even makes it better than identical higher ilvl pieces.
E.g. 445 Boots with Infinite Stars is better than 475 boots without Infinite Stars.
This is just a classic case of people being so focused on raising the arbitrary number in front of them (average ilvl) that they don’t even care if their argument is contradictory to point they are trying to make.

what is that called? streaking stars? people will be benched for not having it for mythic progression in more casual guilds i imagine.
*infinite there we go
