Removing the faction barrier has not been good for the game

I’ll have to disagree here. I like having more people to play with, being able to send things to my Alliance alts, and not having more accursed “faction war” storylines.

Tbh, I’ll take the power of friendship over another Horde Civil War any day.

Maybe … Just maybe some don’t like the horde, And would much rather play alliance but also play with friends. (Or vice versa). For example , I can’t stand the Horde and the orc aesthetic. I don’t want to stand around in Orc tribal scummy buildings all day, and you can’t pay me enough to have to deal with and listen to or follow Sylvanas. (Please for the love of everything don’t bring her back). But still want to play with friends who like the Horde.

Not to mention the faction thing of 18 years is OLD. Don’t like playing with the other side, then don’t. Easy solution. Or go to classic. :upside_down_face:

I think you mean it hasn’t been good for Horde. Seeing as how more people are switching back to Alliance now that they can xfaction group for content.

Many people yes, and many people like the idea of friendship and many don’t care either way.

When you have tens of thousands of people playing a game and two qualifies as “many” it’s not hard to find many people who believe just about anything.

actually it’s not just two but thank you so much for your input, it was greatly appreciated.

have a lovely day

Point is, just saying “many” doesn’t mean much. It can be anything from two to tens of thousands.

People are switching to Alliance because the Dwarf & Night Elf racials are massively overpowered, with Stoneform currently standing as the strongest racial in the game’s entire history, given current encounter design.

I like being able to play with my friends no matter the faction.

Which could have easily been done by adding ‘traitor’ versions of every race to both factions, which is what people were asking for before Blizzard mismanaged the whole thing with allied races. Which were just a mess and a massive wasted opportunity.

I like being able to actually pug M+, Alliance only had too few groups.

oh hello, friend. thank you so much for agreeing with me and supporting the statement in my OP.

hope you have a lovely day

Nice cherry picking on your quote, since that wasn’t what Brounev meant at all, but you knew that and tried to change the tone of the post and thread. Since you are one of those that don’t like.it when others have dissenting opinion, it will be time to ignore. Good Afternoon!

This implies the story was previously good or that the story didnt constantly have the Horde and Alliance holding hands.

between this dragonfriends dragonlands nonsense we’re in im about to run down the street screaming if we dont get out of this expansion lol. like im sorry but the story is SO BAD man. at least the ppls in shadowlands were alright and thats bc we seen some old faves. here we kill ppl no one cares abt and then someone hugs each other at the end.

no one care abt anyone in this expac but alex and only bc shes waifu. the rest are a joke. and they barely did anything for factions we STILL CANT queue for dungeons with each other. i mean what sense does that make?

Considering my main group to play with consists of all Horde, I quite enjoy the faction barrier going down and hope it goes down more by TLT.

You kidding it has been great for the game and needs to go further so I can queue up with guildies on the other faction.

The thing is, for Val’sharah they could have had Horde follow Hamulul Runetotem instead.

This is the thing that gets me: Alliance complain when they have to follow Horde NPCS but tell Horde to “deal with it” when we have to follow Allaince NPCs.

I can understand it when there is no eqeivelent on the other faction for people to follow, but even in this age of working together, keep the factions as separate as possible.

I would rather have the factions separate outside of things that can be attributed to “we are after the same thing, maybe for different reasons, but the same end goal, let’s work together”. However, I will take what we have over “hey HOrde, we are smacking you with the villain bat AGAIN”.
