With SL coming in about 7 hours I want to remove the beta, there is no uninstall option in the launcher and when I try to uninstall through my computer system it says to use the launcher.
I read another post where it says just remove the folder but doing that and running the launcher it just wants to install it.
Will it stop after SL launches later today, am I doing something wrong?

This is correct. Until the game launches the beta will ask to be installed when the folder is removed, since it is no longer installed. As long as the launcher says install for it is is not longer on the system.
Forgive me if you’ve already checked for this, but here’s a screenshot of where the uninstall button is for the beta in the launcher. (At least, that’s where it is for me.)
Just make sure the version you’re uninstalling is definitely the Beta version, and not the retail version!

Thanks but I am not running the beta version, however I’ve paused the update and will wait until the game launches later today.
Just thought I would get jump ahead and do it myself.
You could try swapping to the Beta version of the app. It’s in the settings when you click the Blizzard logo in the top left.
