I figured as much. There is a lot of deflection and forced logic that tries to downplay the situation with a lot of general blanket statements in an attempt to get a rise. Not worth my time.

Just stop it please. It’s embarassing. In all my replies, I’ve never stated I liked or disliked voidform. As I am one of the few shadowpriests that have near BiS and all rank 3s plus half of the rank 4s, I’ve done a majority of the content.

That means from early leveling, World Questing, PVP, PVE, all the way to endgame (with all different levels of gear progression), voidform is nothing more than a mechanic where I have checked off the boxes where and when the core mechanic is usable.

In addition, linking a subjective emotional state to criticism is poor form and is easily shot down. By your logic, if I criticize my children because they did something bad, that would mean I would dislike them.

That’s not how it works. Again, stop with the deflection and absurdity. It only needs to change because the main core only works with a small portion of the game. It has nothing to do with me liking or disliking, or me agreeing or disagreeing with you.

This is strictly “a you” problem.

Why do you keep lying to yourself? It works everywhere in the game, it plays differently than other class. Anyone can level up and gear without properly knowing the mechanic or how to fully use it.

It DOESNT work for a small portion of the game. Pet battle, RP, Exploration… thats the one thing it wont work. It works in pvp, it works in dungeon, it works in raid, in work with leveling (in fact I remember multiple spriest complaining about leveling as shadow… but none of them abuse void form properly). It works everywhere.

Not reach 100 stacks of insanity doesn’t mean it doesnt work…

I found the dev that won’t let go of void form.

Because it is a unique fun system with the shadow priest, fits the lore theme very much and its very fluid. It does need a few adjustment, but nothing major. The addition of devouring plague certainly could be interesting, will have to test it.

People keep saying it’s unique…when it’s really just a scuffed version of what demo locks used to be. I don’t find that unique, in fact, trying to be unique for the sake of uniqueness is probably one of the most pathetic things anyone can do.

Also, they changed the lore of spriest to fit the theme.

It really does need major adjustments dude. Just because you stubbornly choose to believe stuff like ramp-up are a non-issue doesn’t make you right. The issues have been spelled out countless times here. Do some additional reading. I know it’s kinda hard because a lot of the posts are cathartically “remove voidform”, but that is because everyone has been outlining the issues and providing feed back for MONTHS already (well more than months, pretty much years since legion alpha lol.

I do agree that DP could be interesting, and I really hope it is.

What lore? The void expansion that ignored shadow in favor of void elves? The old god expansion that ignored shadow and gave our knife to wrathion? Or the 10 years before that where shadow had nothing to do with the void.

I don’t call a system that doesn’t function well until its proped up by borrowed power and gear fun. And a form within a form is dumb.

There’s no good scource. These forums are mostly used by people to vent off and hardly represent the WoW community or how a class really is.

Most of the time, those that bring something that “hate” voidform are older players wishing for the past to come back. The game will always change and evolve… which will always make some mad and some happy. While more old players will tend to hate the change, it brings new ones in.

Always did had something to do with the void, its the shadow… though it wasnt openly said / shown. Shadow priest always was looking to ascend. I think it simply has the wrong word: “Shadow”. Shadow is more warlock / death knight magic, the spriest was always about torturing the “mind” of the enemy.

Why Blizz ignoring SHADOW priest feedback?

Can anyone answer this? US/EU shadow priest topics burning in flames to remove crap void form. So much good feedback why exactly it is not working, why players, streamers maining sp since release do not like void form, YET , it LIVES?.. I seriously, can not understand why Blizzard hate shadow priests that much ? Jesus Christ, do our feedback actually matter at all? Or you do whatever hell you want just to piss us off? I can give you list how to fix shadowpriests for SHADOWland expansion, …
