Are there any spells that were removed from that game that you felt represented a classes identity?
Mine is the balanced druid spell Insect Swarm. Sunfire is just a rehash of moonfire and its awful because of it.

Barrage… oh wait, that’s in the game but its useless.
Stampede… still in game, but its complete garbage. Was way better in WoD.
I really like tricks of the trade giving a damage buff and I really like deadly throw
I also really liked having rupture on a combat rogue
Oh yeah and poisons
And frost fire bolt
AND SHADOW WORD DEATH BASELINE
Oh yeah and like every spell DKs had with special attention to unholy presence
Hurricane. And I want it back. Even if they just made it a Resto ability to AoE.
I miss the aura spells a lot of classes had. Some were passive buffs, while others actively changed your playstyle. But I thought they were cool, nice for class flavor.
Either Searing Totem or Fire Nova for Shaman. Old Enhance was more fun IMO
Does 2H DK Frost count as a spell?
Shattering throw. It was nice not to be completely screwed against ret pallies defensive abilities.
Running old raids with this ability was a blast. Also made Aff Lock have actual good AoE.

Lowkey I would love if they redesigned hurricane in the same vein as how frost orb works for frost mages, like you throw out this moving storm but it slows down when it reaches enemies

Ill probably get flack for this but I miss sentry totem. I would place it in the bushes at the mine go up to lumber mill and far sight at blacksmith and could swap sight having view of the entire battlefield.

I was so amped when I got this spell leveling my druid for the first time in Vanilla. I’d use it in pvp on top of people fighting in the flag room in warsong gulch even though it didn’t do that much, it just felt super cool lol.
Also, even a glyph of insect swarm to make it so we could have that more “druidy” feeling with unleashing insects on someone but the same functionality as sunfire would have be cool lol.
Blood DPS for Death Knights. Back when ToCR first popped up it was in a bad place for a bit because nobody could figure it out, but I did. It was a nice build. Solid single target DPS with small boosts on multiple pulls thanks to Heart Strike. It didn’t measure up to Unholy’s AoE capability though. It was decent at self efficiency too. The self healing Death Strike helped healers out. They didn’t have to worry about you as much and they could focus on people who really needed it. I remember the original Frost DPS spec. It was utter chaos. A rotation of constant clicking just to keep the numbers up. It really shined in multi target though. It blew Unholy out of the water.
