Someone logged the kill, but I couldn’t tell who was leader from the log. I opened a ticket and they responded really quickly, saying that if the group leader is able to remove someone from the group mid fight it isn’t necessarily against the rules, but also clarified that if you are removed from group during the fight you don’t get loot.
Here was the part of the GM response I found interesting:
If anyone is able to be removed from a group via the normal methods of the game, and they are removed, then it is not considered breaking any rules, as members of a group are allowed to control who they play with.
With that being said, if we do find someone abusing ours systems in-game, we always reserve the right to penalize someone. But that would be a very extreme situation.
In addition to that, if someone attempted to do what you’ve suggested, I’m certain they would have a hard time finding runs to be a part of going forward, as they are essentially outcasting themselves from large amounts of people. So there are natural consequences to trying something like that, as well.
I find it funny that they think the community will remember these people. I can’t even remember the name of the raid leader, lol.
