It’s been a while since I’ve seen one of these posts.
Like before though, don’t want to get ganked. Don’t be flagged. That is the risk you take for being in warmode or on a pvp server.

If you put PvP mode on then you are saying you want to PvP. This isn’t an opinion, it’s literal code in the game where you, the player, decide you want your character flagged to PvP. You can’t punish other players playing as PvP flagged just because you lost - you chose to enable that mode.

Unless you’re an enhancement shaman and get dragged into pvp by your bugged aoe hitting a flagged player.
If you’re a shaman, you can’t really complain about anything else. I mean, you chose to keep being a shaman.

You click war mode, you want to PvP. It’s a binary player driven choice.

Lol, harsh. Enhancement is awesome fun though, especially with the current set bonus. But yeah, they’ve had a bug where one of their passive aoe effects will still hit flagged players even when they have warmode off. I can’t tell what exactly is doing it though. I reported it in the first patch of dragonflight, and just a couple of weeks ago saw it happen to some poor bugger during a superbloom. So it’s still around.

I was talking about a bug. Bug doesn’t care about warmode.

pretty much. Even if you turned it on for the perks, people are going to take it as you being ok with being pvped.
The loss of time can easily outweigh any WM benefits.
Turn off warmode.

I’m not sure. Perhaps they didn’t expect someone from the opposite faction being in whatever city they were.
Even with warmode off, the chat is routinely alerting me to someone attacking some npc in Stormwind, I imagine the same is true in the other cities.
