The rate in which people were caught was so minimal that the sites thrived. That’s the reason wow had to cave in and just provide a safer way that would also net them more income

I would agree with you, but you, like the other 90% people who complain about pay to win, have 0 clue what it means, nor can accurately define it.
If you wanna talk pay to win go watch FIFA streamers spend 1000s of dollars on FIFA points everyday just so they can make the best teams for their 80 dollar roster updates

Nah, I use gold to buy tokens that I convert to Blizz balance so I don’t have to pay real money for new xpacs or my sub.

im going to be brutal here. Dont speak and throw around words if you dont know what they mean. WoW tokens are not even close to p2w. How about actually playing a p2w like BDO or mobile games to understand what “P2W” means.
This is thrown around so much people has lost the true understanding of it.
