I think you missed the point of the assignment like the other guy who doesn’t know what is going on.
You get those from just standing around in cities.
Never played on a private server, only ever played on legit servers. So you can believe all your fantasies if you want, but again, no not all of us were completely clueless in vanilla. The mechanics were easy to figure out, all it took was sitting down and understanding how things worked then looking at them mathematically.
As for playing vanilla, I was there when it started and essentially played from launch, I played on servers that were so unstable that the boats dumped you in the water killing you anytime you tried to go between the two continents, until finally blizzard put in porters, because they couldn’t figure out how to fix the problem. So no don’t assume because you didn’t play vanilla, that all of us didn’t.
Your fantasies simply aren’t true, in fact almost anytime you see a post where someone says “they didn’t do that in vanilla” it’s simply not true. It’s like people thinking boosting didn’t happen, it did and it wasn’t uncommon.
Vanilla came out 20 years ago how old are you?

What are you a child? The vast majority of people playing Classic are old, lol.
I am guessing you never got to play the original D2 before the expansion which made the game easy, or ever played games using dialup, or played a more complex MMORPG like EQ or DAOC which still puts the PvP in WOW to shame. Honestly it’s quite unfortunate that game is almost unplayable on modern computers because it wasn’t kept up to date like WOW, doubt the sequel Camelot Unchained will ever come out sadly, or that if it does if its close to the original in depth.
So yes, I was playing games like WOW before it launched, and have no problems remembering it, or the people I played with the first time around sadly most of them didn’t come back for Classic.

Every iteration of Vanilla, I have two or more characters and I can prove it. Post on your anniversary 60 and I’ll never respond to you again, you’ll just be valid. More then likely you’ll cope about how you don’t have to, but why not ask.
Or post on an era character thats raided in the last 6 months. I’ll keep the gate wide open easy.
