I am on a 80% horde server and i have never had a chance to kill a world boss when theres 500-1000 horde and maybe 50-100 alliance at most we try every time but there is no chance we can we can wipe a few groups but eventually they will get it. So i think you should remove world bosses or make it a no pvp area so u can still grief but if the alliance get a tag they have a chance.

Don’t worry, Blizzard never wanted world bosses in original TBC anyway and only included them because of player outcry.
And they were removed them from Wrath for the exact reasons listed.
I doubt they will remove it, as it’s one of the hallmarks of the TBC experience, but not really for most people or guilds.

It just sucks not being able to have a chance at my bis pieces from world bosses just because i have 0% chance at them. I wouldn’t say there significant to the tbc experience at all to be honest they could be gone tomorrow and most people wouldn’t notice or care

I just go with the strategy of not considering world boss loot part of my BiS list and forget they exist.

yeah thats what im doing but it would be nice to have a chance at the best items i can possibly get right or they should just make them boe now lol so i can atleast buy it lol
I would hard disagree, world bosses are a part of the old WoW expacs that people enjoy. It’s for hardcore players through and through, whether by design or just how it ended out. Same sort of deal with a server firsts or Scarab Lord mount. It’s something extra for the sweaties of sweaty.

thats cool and all but you could put 50 of the most hardcore alliance players in the world on a world boss but if there’s 1000 horde they have no chance at the kill so there not for hardcore players at all imho so i will have to disagree its more of a how many people you have game lol
Yeah, and then they decided to implement VoA and put a raid boss behind an obligatory PvP victory in Wintergrasp.
I take it a step farther than that.
I look at what my BiS list says. I look at the alternatives. Then I make up my own damn mind on what I think is better for me.

World boss loot isn’t supposed to be fair. Theres nothing you can do, if you werent fighting the horde for it you would be fighting other guilds on alliance.

I was in a crazy hardcore guild back in the day where we all had warlock alts parked in AZ on rotation looking for world boss spawns then summon the guild in asap and ninja it.
Not always going to happen but it’s possible to try and outplay them.
World bosses?
You’re on Earthfury which is 40-60 not 20-80. You’re in a weak guild that has never had presence on the realm. Horde have 1 HC coalition. Fight them if you want the bosses, don’t cry on the forums.

Theres no where near this many people that show up to these kills on your server.
Alliance have almost zero presence in a majority of the kills, at most you guys bring maybe 20. Horde will have anywhere from 50-150 depending on the time of day the boss spawns.
A better change would be to enable lockouts. One tag per week.
