Seriously, what is the point anymore? Raids have taken a back seat to Mythic+, 8.3 will not sustain the playerbase, and Shadowlands is still a ways off. Remove the shackles on raids and let us farm them… Legacy raids in particular (at least…) Thanks!

uh why? You want to do a raid once a week, then keep doing it. Its a dated system that serves no purpose other than more time gates, its not necessary.

They should actually add that weekly lockout to M+ gear as well. 1 chance at loot per dungeon per week + chest.

I feel like anytime someone wants something changed, they call the current system outdated.
Trial of the Grand Crusader could be run four times a week (10N/10H/25N/25H) and people were burning themselves out because they felt “forced” to do all four raids each week.

i agree but at the same time the system does feel a bit outdated.

You say this until the day you can’t meet your Raid Leaders requirement of raiding multiple times a day or 7 days a week leading to you being replaced by someone that can.
Raids are fine as they are. They require a lot of coordination and barely any guilds would even benefit from this. Just the top maybe 50 guilds MIGHT benefit from this… I say 50 is pushing it… but regardless, people like set schedules for raid while not having to show up every single day of the week to do it. There’s more to the game than just raiding. It’ll lose it’s value.
They must remain for the last few exp. However I would not object to raids from 3 or more expansions ago not having a weekly lock

This is mostly to what I am referring to… Older raids for sure. Newer raids I still think should also have lockouts removed but I’m not going to argue that point. So far the few actual reasons against it I see are weak, you can run as many Mythic+ as you want, whats the difference with raids? More people? Afraid of getting replaced? Prob find another guild… Burn out? Let me point you to the dozens of daily threads already about people burnt out.

So now your whole point becomes null… because your argument was “players are getting more gear from Mythic + than raid”, and now you’re stating you want it for old raids so you can get xmogs and endlessly farm mounts that are timegated because they’re supposed to be prestigious.
So mythic + was never the issue. It’s the fact that you’re not getting a full set of xmog or a mount in two days.
