Blizzard cant figure it out at all,my idea is keep it 1 super small sidezone for every new xpac, change layout every big new season woith node reset, cut the shards in half or let people select a side to fight with for map control like wvw or cyrodiil. Warmode doesnt even make sense anymore. Not only is flying mounts in pvp absolute nonsense but the zones arent at all designed with wpvp. Even from a lore perspective its vanity because horde and alliance are frolicking in the flowers together every expac to kill “the new big bad guy” why not make a small zone. Groundmount only and fully designed with wpvp in mind and have the engine/servers capable of handling most the fights
Even having this formula in a 24/7 instanced mode would be sick, something better than Brawl:Classic maps
I have called my PvP weapons through war mode. I actually figured it out late that I can get bloody tokens for doing world quests. While I enjoy PvP when I am not doing keys.
World quests actually are my new PvP incentive.
I just complete all today.

Keep this guy on mute if he calls out bloody tokens that you get from war mode.

The game really just isn’t PvP. Credit to blizz for trying to keep PvP alive but 99.9% of players just don’t care about it.

Warmode is there for the majority faction of the battlegroup to get free extra gains.
It’s as bad as the PvP realms of old, since they don’t care about enforcing a balanced playing field.
Only gankers, masochists or cowards use Warmode regularly on uneven faction ratio servers/groups, and I think it’s most of them.
I turn it on once a week to do WQs and gather treasures, then it’s off again.
And I’m already over the need for Bloody Coins, so it’s permanently off now.
It irks me because I would really like using some PvP talents on the world content, but it is what it is, it’s not worth the hassle when there is 20 horde to 1 alliance, they ALL like to gang up or sneak on you, and that sole alliance player is me.
I agree except the 99.9% thing, if players had more incentive and the game just did it right then these pvp threads would be less frequent, alot of ppl still pvp but alot as in like 5-10% thats still good money from blizzards perspective, its like ignore mythic raiders or delve enjoyers, not smart financially to do that
The thought that PvP players come in at anything comparable to people who touch the raids or delves is genuinely laughable. A vast majority of players have yet to do the battleground added this expansion.

You’ve been posting about pvp a lot; seems like you kinda hate it? If you switch to a more OP alt you might enjoy it more.
It’s been a very long time since I did PvP but back in the day BG’s were pretty fun. In Vanilla I remember being part of huge assaults on Orgrimar, that was fun as well.

The PVP templates in Legion got me back into PVP for the first time in a long time. What keeps me away from PVP is the gearing, I hate it. I also never really liked “gearing” in any PVP game I played in my life, it’s not necessary and it’s also flawed.

Its funny because i said in another post gearing is bad and if templates are done correctly itll be good, but it got shot down by the exact people in this thread, players that dont even pvp
That doesnt even make sense, i genuinely want blizzard to make the pvp stick and to have more incentive to do it aswell as make it easier to access for newer players.
For someone who sees all my pvp posts you sure didnt absorb anything from them, especially not my actual stance. I think wow combat is very fun and theres unnecessary hurdles, timegates and other things that make it hard to get into for most players, hence why MOST dont play it. Its unfortunate but its reality and i hope to sway player opinion or steer blizzard in a better direction with delivery.
You are more than capable of looking at mythic raid logs or delves and tell me those are very popular forms of content. So go and prove a vast majority are playing those modes, also saying most havent touched a bg is probably a stretch, im sure ppl are doing it for the weekly

I’ve seen the titles, and the name attached. I engaged with one of your posts, I think to talk about demo lock. It just seems you’re on a tear about it and not enjoying it at all, as it is.
I don’t know if you also post in the pvp forums, but not a lot of big pvpers post here. This post grabbed my attention because I like war mode.
I just think try to enjoy some of the things about current pvp without overthinking how to change the entire system in one week.

If you don’t like warmode, then just don’t opt into it. It is there for the players who enjoyed the PvP server feel.

Alot of people enjoy Warmode and with the final zone (Voidstorm) of Midnight having a large open world PvP section it’s not going anywhere.
If you don’t like Warmode don’t use it. It’s literally opt in.

PvE incentives for flagging have always been a head scratcher because you end up with a lot of people flagging that don’t want to PvP.
I see alot of the same names with posts under similar topics about the same content whether its pve or pvp, I dont think they hate the game because they wanna see changes, ive also never said “remove x within a week” i dont even agree with that. I genuinely dont understand ppl who go under threads and just assume its a hate thread or they over exaggerate points to attack the OP’s character.
Worst part is im in warmode probably more than anyone in the thread, half of you probably dont even do it but feel obligated to talk on topics involving it, its like me going to mythic+ threads
Ok. Maybe just put all your ideas into one post and put it in the pvp forum. Just a suggestion. I’m just a pvp casual so can’t offer any other response to this thread other than I like warmode and as above poster mentioned they are adding a big pvp area in Midnight.
