Nah. Anti-spam is good.
Yeah.
It's good.
But I do catch myself typing like this in chat sometimes.
I really need to cut it out.
Lol.

I will sometimes type in chat too fast also. Ran into that issue on the demo. LOL Responding too quickly in General chat.
It limits player interactions.
Cant have a conversation with other players in general chat because of a limit of one entry to chat per minute. How is a conversation suppose to occur in general chat if people cant contribute to it as much as they want?
I often find myself talking to multiple people in general chat and after I read, "The number of messages that can be sent to this channel is limited, please wait to sent another message.", i lose all interest in the conversation and just stop talking. It harms the community interaction.

It helps interaction, though when it comes to letting others have room to speak as well.
If you're in the same area, try /s.

If they turned it off, I can't even imagine the useless spam we would see.

Good point, also it stops people spamming those god-awful ascii picture macros.
OP misses the days of Sexleg.
Right now it at least needs to be loosened. I couldn't hold conversations with people in general chat.

If that's your limit, then something is set wrong on your end, or you've been reported for spam, or something.
I've never run into a 1 chat entry per minute limit on ANY of my characters regardless of server or faction.
Also, you losing interest in a conversation that isn't rapidly moving is a personal problem, and perhaps you should speak to a doctor about getting checked for some kind of attention deficiency... (Not a dig, just a suggestion because that isn't generally the way most people are that I've seen.)
Stop trying to insult me. I do not have attention deficiency. It may not be a minute and maybe more like 30 seconds however it is still annoying.
And no, I have never spammed in my life.

And I had no trouble holding conversations with multiple people in General chat on the demo.
YMMV, I suppose.

Technically, it is used for anyone you want to ignore including spammers, harassers, ninjalooters and even random people you dont agree with. I personally dont ignore unless they dont stop after a couple days of spamming and harrassing.

people need big daddy blizzard to step in to solve their problems for them when they have the capabilities to solve those problems themselves already
it's called the IGNORE function.

Iv never had a full ignore list. I maybe have had 5 people ignored at max and remove them all after a month because I dont even remember who they are.
