Remove the timer on keys under 5

People should fail an M+ dungeon if they do not meet the criteria to finish it on time.

Okay…so whats the fail state then? Whats the point where they say “no rewards for you” ?

So if your healer accidentally dies on a pack because their cat jumps on the keyboard or something and it results in a wipe and people in your group flip out and leave that means you don’t meet the criteria to finish it on time?

Assuming you mean in keys where it’s for actually aiming for upgrades?
Simple you can’t actually finish the dungeon simple as that.

An untimed key doesn’t even not give rewards. It just tells you to practice some more.

It depletes your key as well. So it’s not saying you need to practice more it’s saying go back.

As it should, you’re getting out of your depth.

Correct.

A group of 500 ilvl folks could complete a +4 if there was no timer…so youre gonna need something better than that.

So let me see if I got this straight.

You believe that if you are a dps and your group wipes because the healer had an accident that resulted in a wipe and your group breaks up. That means you don’t meet the criteria to finish on time there for you deserve to have your key delevel?

Also if a group of ilvl 500 people can complete the instance they deserve to get upgrades and proceed until they can’t proceed anymore.

Yes.

Thats what a timer does too. If you beat the timer you deserve to advance, dont and you dont.

If you want a dungeon with different difficulties and no timer, they specifically delves for that

Bro just give up. You’re wrong deal with it.

Im not wrong. Im explaining how the system works lol

Go do delves. It has everything you want, with rewards at the same level youre asking for.

It’s a group effort. Not just DPS. Tank and Healer is suppose to do their respective jobs. Healer on previous Expansion was always being carried. Now, Healer is suppose to do his job or the group wont beat the key especially at high level key.

Mythic+ is advance Dungeoneering. The Timer at lowbie keys is just like a Death Counter. Each Death gives Timer penalty. A WIpe gives huge Timer Penalty. If you failed on Timer at lowbie key, it usually means you have a lot of wipes/deaths. Why do you deserve to go to the next key level if you keep on DYING? The timer is telling you if you are good enough for the next key.

So what are you gonna do? Lowbie people should refrain from being killed. That’s it. What kills you? Ah, the Caster Mob made a lot of group Damage. What are you gonna do? That’s why INTERRUPT is a major thing that needs to be done in M+. That’s the basic. It’s not that Dungeon is really hard. The Dungeon has game mechanics… it has to be dealt properly to beat it.

The Timer on lowbie keys is very relaxed. You don’t need to speed run it. You can go at a very slow pace. As long as you avoid Deaths/Wipe, you could easily beat the timer.

How often the group dies/wipe becoz someone’s cat jumps on keyboard?

Nah, he’s actually like this.

You can make many wipes and still time it. We are on this thread about keys under 5, right? What you fear is on high keys. On Lower keys, just relax.

It’s just like when you first learn how to drive a car. There’s fear at first. But when you keep on practicing, keep on doing it, you would feel comfortable with it. Like M+… dont fear dying, dont fear wipes, just relax. Start at the lowest dungeon level… Start at M0. Then when you get a hang of it, climb M+2. Do it on all Dungeons. Just doing M+2 on all dungeons on time could get you 1000 M score if I remember it correctly. When you feel comfortable with M+2, climb on M+3… and so on until you reach 2000 M Rating doing M+7s.

Dont climb to higher M keys if you are a starter or beginner. You would be wrecked. Start at the easiest and climb up one step at a time. Just remember, everyone was once a Noob. We all been there. Just be patient. Keep practicing. Take note why you died. What was the mistake? Correct it… learn from mistakes and move forward. . If there is a certain dungeon fight you struggled with, Keep on doing that same dungeon over and over. Do it at lower key so that it’s easier. Do it repeatedly until you grasp the mechanics. Keep practicing until muscle memory sticks in.

Good Luck.

I just fear the players around me raging, insulting, kicking and leaving groups.

I wish we lived in a world where failure and learning was okay.

The funny thing is… it is okay. If you use the levels that are meant for failure and learning. Gilded crest farm levels is not the place for you to be failing because youre just now learning how to avoid being pulled into Ara-Karas last boss

It’s not okay though. You see folks in this thread bashing on those who are learning in lower keys, making fun of those who might even fail a 2. I imagine the pressure and the raging would be even worse in-game because how dare a learning player waste the time of others by making a mistake.

Its depressing. I feel like the only winning option with M+ is not to play.

So we’re gonna ignore everything and strawman?

Theres a place and a time for learning. Theres even 4 levels of dungeons dedicated to learning
