Remove the subscription requirement to play PvP modes of the Classic Era

The title says it all. This is a request to have the pvp modes of Classic Era available to players without a subscription.

I would love to see AV run again for Classic Era players and I think doing this would make that happen. It would also be a nice gesture to those who came back for classic and quit because we did not want TBC and have no interest in a seasonal version of vanilla.

I know I would hop on for a BG on occasion if I could. Obviously this would only advantage people who had 60s and quit, but might even get some to resub to gather mats they need in the open world. Thanks for reading my post!

Sometimes in the world of business you must offer something up for free to make a profit. Fortnite learned this and has been successful, Halo Infinite is using this model as well, League of Legends, I could go on…

I’m doing just fine. What is not doing fine is the availability of BGs in Classic Era, which is why I canceled my sub. You totally missed the point.

That’s cute. Era servers are dead. There’s simply no point. Between TBC, Seasonal servers and whtever else comes up, Era has no chance.

You may be right, but if they had any chance it would be by keeping the BGs running, by making them available without a sub. Maybe that wouldn’t even be enough, who knows unless you try. It would bring me back though.

I would support this. Maybe merge SoM, Classic battlegroups together.
