So I got kicked for being ‘AFK’ (I wasn’t) and a deserter debuff (I did no such thing) because I was trying to complete the mountain of quests in AV for Korrak’s revenge.
I don’t blame anyone for reporting me AFK at all, they had their objective, I had mine. But if it’s not possible to complete those quests because you get reported as being AFK when you move 2 inches away from the group, why are they present in the first place?
Either facilitate their completion or get rid of them.
And to anyone I was grouped with, sorry. I’m just trying to level up my dudes. <3.
Leveling seems faster if you ignore the quests entirely and just go for the kill up/down the valley to the Horde/Alliance bosses.

Almost all those quests you do with the group now.
If you are there to level up your alts not to help with the BG, you deserve to be kicked.

Okay, that I was unaware of. So does everyone get credit if just a few people do them?

I have got credit for the tower and the graveyard and I sure didn’t click the flags so I think if you are close enough you do.

That’s good to know. I was going to start sticking with the team either way since it was made clear that’s not how people want to do things. (Do the side quests). I’m just going to clear them off my list and not bother with them.
There’s no point to those quests aside from the one involving Korrak and even then that’s mostly just for transmogrification purposes.

If all you want to do is level, stay with the group. Winning is the fastest way to level.
If you want badges, that’s the way to do it. But do them after you die once with the pack, and not because you ran off to do something.

And alliance cannot get there before horde 90% of the time so skip it.
I think you might be okay to go now. For the past few days, there hasn’t been a single Horde player that has bothered with Korrak. I think we all got him by now. Haha
