Remove the Honor Level 30 Requirement for Battlegrounds

Blizzard needs to remove the Honor Level 30 requirement for battlegrounds. Here’s why:

  1. Queue times are way too long for players under level 30.
  2. There’s a severe lack of PvP content for those who haven’t reached Honor Level 30 yet.
  3. While solo shuffle arena occasionally pops, the wait times are still brutal.

We desperately need some casual, quick-to-access honor-gaining content for newer players. It’s crucial for keeping the PvP scene healthy and growing.

@Blizz: We’d really appreciate some blue text on this issue. What are your thoughts on adjusting the Honor Level requirements for BGs?

Yea the 30 honor level bracket makes no sense to keep. Throw that fresh meat in with us.

I’m currently in a normal WSG… There’s an Honor Level 1, and a 27.

What bracket is this guy talking about?

I dunno… I like it here in sub 30 honor, the only downside that the queue can be long at times but in evening, it’s not too bad, around 10 minutes. People generally have less awareness as well, but it’s on both sides so it evens out…

I’ve dusted off this account for a month to switch it up a bit, and it’s a quite different feel here in battlegrounds, it has its own ecosystem.
They have different strategies adopted for each BG like

  • IOC - horde takes hangar, ally goes for docks every time. mid is a toss up
  • Ashran - rush every time, whoever has a small team behind to block/slow other team, wins
  • AV - always Galv first for some reason, barely any tower defending as well
  • WG - mostly same, with some twists like quite a few going for BT at start

best part? no premades, zero… and games are mostly even and often close.
I think if honor lvl 1 are thrown into BGs as is, they’d leave with bad taste from experience of just how onesided the games usually are.
They need to fix the current state of the BGs first to combine the brackets.

Wow I’d love to be able to go to that bracket.

I’ve played bgs long enough to remember when almost every game was like that.

I long for those kind of games to be common again the premade epidemic really exacerbated in shadowlands.

Although in shadowlands I could just run over them a lot easier cause of the gear difference in Dragonflight with self healing gigs nerfed and gear equalized? Not so much.
