Yet another example of why holiday xmog restrictions need to go.
There is absolutely no reasonable justification for restricting TUXEDO PANTS to a HOLIDAY.
Get rid of the restriction, and while we’re at it, get rid of the other useless holiday transmog restrictions. I want to be constructive here but it’s beyond absurd that these restrictions are still a thing.

Better yet, get rid of most transmog restrictions— as in, no more holiday restrictions or armor type restrictions. If my Dark Iron Priest can wear plate with the heritage armor set and we have cosmetic sets like Wendigo Woolies and Covenant sets, there’s zero reason to have armor type or holiday restrictions anymore.
This and same argument for unrestricted races/classes.
I think all the seasonal and expansion limitations should be removed on toys and gear because I can see absolutely no reason for them to exist. Why can’t I use any or all of the target dummies wherever I am in the gameworld? If I want to use gear created in a certain event outside of that, why not? Does it suddenly turn off being gear or something?
Most of these decisions appear insanely random. About time the sanity was put back into the game design.
That actually has racial cutlure and lore behind it and makes races bland and boring. So that I will absolutely never agree with.
The argument is as follows: “X, Y, Z are examples of unrestricted but silly things, therefore, there’s zero reason to have any restrictions anymore.” I just don’t see the difference, as there are lore reasons behind transmogs as well (like heritage armor for certain races). I think that if they are going to not add more combinations in the name of lore, the current combinations should reflect the lore as well.
Then I was unclear when I said remove all restrictions. That’s my fault. I expect Heritage Armor to stay as such. I’ll fix the post to clarify.

I was really hoping that after they made the quest to make the flower crowns mogable year round, they were going to do the same for other holiday items.

This is me and tuxedo pants lol. They go perfect with my DH mog but can’t use them because of an arbitrary restriction

Agree! My hubby likes the pilgrim hat on his dwarf hunter but can’t mog it. I am happy there’s now 2 semi plain black pants from the covenants but not as black as the tuxedo ones.
