It’s 2024. Most people bypass this restriction by paying for a second account. Please let people play on either faction on the same server. I want to be able to play a Shaman on the PvP realm, but I cannot. Feels like a pointless restriction especially with SoD where so many things are different than original Classic WoW.

This is the only thing that worked for me. The transfer took around 15 minutes, but it worked perfectly. I can also now make characters of either faction now on Crusader Strike with no faction restriction error message anymore! Thanks so much for the help! <3
they did remove the account fraction restriction you’re hitting the character creation restriction due faction population imbalances. just gotta keep trying basically.
Did you create them (each faction) on Crusader Strike, or did they get transferred over from the other realms before the merger? My guess is that the merger allowed both faction characters to coexist on Crusader Strike, but creation of the opposing faction for people like me that never had Horde on the realm, only Alliance, is still not allowed.
Are you dense bro? This topic has been beat to death and the workaround is insanely easy. Nobody is buying a second account to make a char on the opposite faction that wouldnt even be guaranteed
