Remove the 60min auto-Disconnect "afk" 'feature'

It’s UNNECESSARY now that there aren’t any queues and plain and simply ANNOYING when the game disconnects you while you’re in the city talking to friends or waiting for dungeon groups to start forming, or BG queues to pop in the dead of night etc.

Yes I know if you buy something from a vendor and sell it back to the vendor etc. and a few other things you can avoid the 60min Kick but we shouldn’t HAVE to do these silly things.

I thought that was already fixed.

They did. Like, two weeks ago.

" WoW Classic

  • Fixed an issue that could cause the player to disconnect from the game while waiting in a long queue for a Battleground."

I found this in their patch notes, if so then that would explain why I still get disconnects, waiting around city talking to friends or waiting to see a dungeon group forming etc and still get disconnected.

Sounds like you have to be in a BG queue to avoid the 60min Kick timer then?

Am i understanding that right? If so - what is their PROBLEM, are they that pressed for server usage and bandwidth that they need to kick people off all the time?

Yes.

I get it,
Once again, they’re only making a change to cater for the horde.
Why’s that? It was the horde complaining about the disconnects while waiting in BG queue.
Everyone else was complaining about it due to a range of other reasons, so of course they pick the horde’s reasoning and only apply a fix that benefits them.

Yes. That’s why all the smart people rolled Horde.

Excuse me, Gnomes racial is literally, be smarter than everyone else.

Mana doesn’t make you smart.

Neither does tetanus from your refusal to wear shoes. Yet here we are.

Didn’t take long to start talking about horde bias lol.

This didn’t even have anything to do with horde specifically and yet somehow…

Have you ever tried to find shoes that fit troll feet properly?

If the Orcs, literal Zug-Brains, can figure it out, what does that say about trolls?

Now you’re just being hurtful.

…Yes?

If you are literally sitting there for over an HOUR AFK, why do you care if you get kicked and have to log back in?

The only time getting kicked would be detrimental is if you happen to be in a BG queue, and lose the queue as a result, which is what the patch addressed.

What use-case are you encountering, where this is a problem for you, outside of BG queues specifically?

Worst horde bias card ever played.

How’s that victim complex working out for you?
