Remove the 4.5 requirement for sergeant

I know, call me a meme troller. but after week 4 of trying to get 4.5k honor in a week. is near impossible at this point if you’re not forming a premade, which is also hard as well of a time waste. The queues for alliance are roughly 10+ minute waits. The game usually lasts 5ish minutes. Once horde get their 4 non afk dps wiped. the entire team just sits in spirit form. A quick lose for horde to requeue up. While alliance gets only the honor from the win / flag caps and roughly nothing from kills.

i have grinded out 4.2k+ honor weekly. falling short every week by time restrictions and the long queues. i make about 500-700 honor in about 2 hours of farming lobbies after having to refill the people leaving each game in the premade, because who wants to wait 10+ minutes for a 5 minute game where the enemy team instantly afks.

there is no solution except boosting queue services that will guarantee sniped lobbies for you to farm hks/flag caps.

It sucks that the fastest way to grind 15k honor was sitting on a serpent pet and sitting at a fp and just killing players landing for 5 hours straight roughly.

The queue times are insane for the minimal amount of honor gained for alliance. REMOVE THE HONOR REQUIREMENT 4 STRAIGHT WEEKS OF THESE QUEUES TO FALL SHORT EACH WEEK IS MIND RENDERING DUST TO DUST.

Its either queue up “fast” loses that yield hardly 100 honor and sit in queue for 10+ minutes

Or make a premade that will take more time, to stomp the enemy team in 1 life, then the enemy team sits in spirit form because its faster for them to lose and instantly requeue into another wsg while alliance waits around 1 hour of queue time for 6 times that yield around 350-500 honor all together.

Have an algorithm to give more honor based on the queue time of the lobby to respect the players putting in the time to keep this game populated

How about no. If you can’t put in the time you don’t get the reward.

i dont think its healthy for a player to try and spend 2 hours a night 7 nights a week for one of the lowest ranks in the game to achieve. while the queue times are not respectful to the player. and the game mechanics implore the faction with short queue times to just lose over and over and over while in spirit form not playing the game. to get the same result but faster. how does it make sense. to MINMAX by staying dead in a pvp game mode just to lose faster to requeue faster.

if i can get two horde toons from rank 2-3 in less than 2 hours each. why does alliance have to deal with this polar opposite system where losing instantly isnt viable. Horde can just queue instant lose and queue up another and be in game within a minute.

while alliance has to sit in queue for 10 minutes + roughly. get into game, then go fight 3 horde players while the rest of the horde team is mia or sitting in spirit form refusing to play the game?

how is the argument, if you cant invest the time dont play? when horde invests the least amount of time into the rank grind due to a wonky pvp system that rewards players NOT playing the game and just instantly lose the game and queue up for more marks.

By the morals of your logic, all horde players should be stripped of their rank due to them playing the game incorrectly and not “earning” their rank.

My understanding is that rank decay has been removed for SOD, meaning if you obtain seargent you will have it forever. If I am wrong someone verify this. Obtaining sgt was easy, trying to hit exalted with hunters taking 2/3 of my hp instantly while running and insta globaling me is more of a problem.

Guess you are going to have to wait for next phase for a better BG then.

If you can’t put in the time you don’t deserve the reward.

reward players for intentionally losing to gain honor faster?

The answer is no. You can’t have the shiny participation trophy.

14 hours a week isnt good enough ??? how is 14 hours a week not enough time to get a reward, 4 weeks straight resulting in 56 hours of wsg alone to get rank 3…

Skill issue is all I hear.

so it goes from a not enough time invest issue to a skill issue?

It’s probably both for you.

Realistically, all they should do is make it so ‘non-officer ranks’ have cumulative honor gains and ‘officer ranks’ have the current “get your honor to this cap before it resets to 0 to rank up”.

Basically, I was pretty annoyed finding out that I didn’t make Sergeant the second week of SoD because I stopped PVPing short of the ‘cut off’ for the Rank Up. And logged in to find all the previous week’s progress INTO getting that Rank Up was wiped.

In short, you should be able to ‘brute force’ your way to the highest non-officer rank. But after that, you should have to grind to the cut off point to get a rank up once you hit officer ranks (the ranks that let you into the Honor Hall…think it’s Knight-Lt. for Alliance).

You can just gank in a group of 5 in Ashenvale. I got sergeant in one week. Over 8000 honor wpvping in Ashenvale.

No, I’m telling you, it’s not changing and you can’t have it unless you put in the time.

There is zero chance of them changing it and you don’t need it.

Zero chance of it changing. Let this sink in before you type again. It’s never going to change.

Not changing. Stop asking. Go and do some PVP.

Poor alliance players. Yall truly struggle with populations, winning ashenvale and going against premades.

Skill issue. I farmed 55k honor last week pugging.

Just gank people in the open world. You can get 4.5k easily outside of BG’s.
