it seems none of you people know how to play this bg even knowing its been out for years theres no difference in 1300 mmr and 2800 mmr
tbh one of the better maps but yeah people don’t like holding orbs.
Can only blame them so much. It’s basically volunteering to get tunneled and you can’t use a lot of defensive cooldowns for some classes.
The map also does a lot to make uncoordinated teams struggle to regroup.
Only map I’ll see a team that’s dominating consistently lose because they refuse to touch the orbs.
Oh no I can blame them to the maximum extent. The penalty for death is a 15 second time out. No reason you can’t grab an orb and actually earn points. Sometimes it’s like watching a bunch of kids scared to death to go to the deep end of the pool.
I’d rather they yeet EotS from the Blitz pool.
EoTS blitz version is the absolute worst. Either they change it, make big red no go zones on wrong bases or just take it out.

I’d be happy if Temple was deleted in general.
I mean seriously, who enjoys having to sign themselves up for guaranteed death to generate points?
Whenever I see an orb come up, I pray that someone else is going to get it LOL. But of course they never do, so I do what I have to do.
That is a fair argument it’s definitely low on the fun factor.
If BGB was nothing but Gilneas, Silvershard, and WSG I would have no complaints. But Temple is fine, would rather see DWG removed if anything needs to be (EoTS is also pretty bad–basically whoever gets the first flag wins unless someone does something stupid).
In theory temple should be a fun map. It’s fast paced, pretty much nonstop action, short runs back, etc.
Unfortunately it’s those orbs that make it so frustrating to play because for some reason so many people just run right past orbs without picking them up.
And because there are 4 orbs, even if you’re grabbing as many as you can it’s not going to be enough to make up the difference by yourself. There is nothing worse than holding an orb while you see 2 members of your team run right past 2 other orbs.
In other maps you could at least go capture multiple objectives by yourself. In temple you’re stuck holding 1 orb at a time.
You don’t even play Blitz.
I really like temple but I know a bunch of others who don’t.
On my warrior I take one for the team and just go orbs all game (historically it should be a ranged class picking orbs but never a healer), sit in mid as much as possible and leap out to save myself when needed. I constantly remind others to pick orbs
On the disc priest I tell the team to all get in mid and control it and I will heal anyone with an orb.

AB/Deepwind are best of the mode imo.
For sure. I love walking back between two flags and never seeing an enemy player for the entire game while my team fails to cap any other flag.
Ya but for 6/8 players it’s nice.
Kotmogu I’ve seen as few as 4 total dps grab orbs, 6 or more ending the match without any grabs. At which point it’s just totally degen, worst queue in the game.
The only maps that should be Blitz are WSG, TP, BfG, AB. 2 FC and 2 Control Node maps.
Temple is a favorite map for many players, but I completely agree that a lot of people don’t fully understand it, including myself.
If there’s 1 BG they need to remove or revamp for BGB, it’s EOTS. A BG where the play is for a team to just sit on the flag for the entire game and then cap at the end is just bad and boring design
