If Blizzard enforces name censorship, then they should be consistent in enforcing censorship everywhere. How are report/ignore features effective if I’m still constantly exposed to immature language? And censorship shouldn’t even be my job. Are Trade/Guild chats considered to be acceptable for a T rated game? Online interactions are under the guise of being optional. Well they simply are not. We need to interact with other players to progress in content.
So, Blizzard: Either be consistent and change WoW’s rating to M. Let players name their characters whatever they want and say what they want. (Still of course giving us the option to ignore the players we don’t want to see.) Or hold true to your current rating and actually enforce censorship everywhere.
Another thing. Slutmogs. Why remove the option to hide my pants for the sake of “keeping it classy” when there’s leggings far more revealing? Looks to me like another fake attempt to hide behind a “family friendly” rating. Just be consistent Blizz, is all I’m asking.

Because “immature language” evolves and it’s impossible for Blizz to have every word in there or every variation of every word people would use to get around the filter. If you have certain words you don’t want to see in chat then just get

which allows you to blacklist words

What is going on here? Did you get a name flagged or something?

They can’t remove what never existed.

The world isn’t black and white (unless you’re 3 years old). It isn’t “censor everything possible” or “censor nothing”. Those aren’t the only choices…
…not even if you evoke the magical word “consistent”…

I was kinda like… I don’t think this is a thing. I remember Helm and cloaks… but pants?
All I know is I’m gonna report you as soon as I figure out what “umadre” means. Is that Swilihi? Malayam? Korean?
Or you could, you know, just follow the rules you agreed to.

It means, U Mad Re?
So basically, it’s trolling some guy named Re.
…
There is a filter if you don’t want to be exposed to immature language. Use it, and the report option if you’re really not a fan of what’s being said. Folks shouldn’t be saying that type of stuff in the first place, so if you want something done about it, well, you have the tools do to so.
WoW will never be an M rated game, and even if it was? It would still have a profanity filter in place, because, and this is true, not all players want to see that type of language, which is what the filter exists for.

You seem to think there’s a 100% way to cover every basis persay when making anything. There’s always a way around the system, hence why even the most complex securities in the world can get hacked from time to time. Humans adapt and overcome such obstacles.
Have you ever tried minding your business?

its not a word, its two, in spanish
“tu” means you, but in this context is your
and “madre” is mother.
As for the first word “Shi*ga” idk if it even has an english translation.

it’s a misspelling of a common Spanish word that definitely has an English meaning
