Please remove the server-name from pleayers cause theres some toxicity between some servers and “rival” servers it should be solved by removing the server name from players.

It lets players know who they can trade with.
Server reputation is important too, good or bad it’s usually justified.

While at that, remove players names from public view, there are some toxicity about players seeing who actually is the other players.
While at that, remove the players themselves, because toxicity is from human nature, not how they choose to manifest it.
If they cant see which server it is, they will be toxic about races, classes, colors, or whatever. Because again, it is the human nature that gets people to manifest frustration as toxicity.

Haha, I remember when Oceania was going through a phase of hating on my server in particular because we’re a bunch of “casual scrubs”.

I agree that I would like to see who I can trade with, not who I can discriminate against.
I have a character on an OCE server. Nice people there, but awful ping. Not long ago I was told by someone on the forum that they would automatically kick players from that realm because they are all bad players.
Which they’re not. He based that opinion on nothing at all. But he was ready to kick any or all players from that server because somehow he had gotten the idea that they were all bad players, and he was obligated to be the angel of vengeance that would fix that situation.

personal experience. Which is valid. Thousands of other players say the same thing for a reason. There are plenty of players. We don’t want to deal with Ragnaros because most of them are trash. All of them? No of course not. But we’re gonna pick someone else.

it can’t be removed for technical reasons. the software NEEDS to be able to identify where you are from.

I agree with the sentiment, knowing where someone comes from gives you an indication of what’s likely to happen, or at least why something probably happened.
For example, if I saw an Alliance from Sargeras they were extremely likely to come attack me in PvP. If I saw Alliance from some lesser known servers we probably would both mind our business.
So I’m not going to agree/disagree about the Rag thing, but servers tend to tell me a story of who I’m about to group with/see.
