Remove recuperate

please remove recuperate. it is totally immersion breaking. it feels cheap and fake.

–we already have food that recovers health and mana there is no point to have a cheat like this in the game.

Must be a patch day…

No, keep it but make it more ridiculous to make OP mad.

You want immersion go to RP servers. Otherwise who cares at this point…

Remove it from your toolbar that simple.

I don’t care if it stays or is removed, but it really does seem like overkill. Eating/drinking between fights hasn’t been a thing in a very long time.

“I don’t like using this ability, therefore no one should have the option to use it.” really is peak gamer attitude, isn’t it?

See, the weird support from some for removing healer interrupts.

Yeah, like you have to go farm some mats to even use it and when you use it it takes like 10 mins because you watch your toon actually boil the water and cook the food

What did recuperate do to you?
It’s so insignificant you barely notice it exists.

“Immersion breaking” continues to be one of the dumbest arguments I’ve ever heard.

Show us on the doll where recuperate touched you…

but dont you think it makes all the cool food and drink options that you can purchase /craft null –like it makes them pointless therefore taking away an aspect of the game

TBH it’s quite immersion breaking when the screen goes black and I see my ugly mug in the reflection while playing. just sayin…

Only mythic+ and raiders care about “good” food (food with stat buffs). Anyone else just goes to a random vendor and buys food and water if they need it. Which I rarely do for some reason.

Oh, way before that. See, gamers™ whining over Dark Souls getting a difficulty setting.

You know what? Thats fair. I actually have a reflection phobia, so that can be quite jarring.

My “immersion” died a little when they started adding random science fantasy elements to the game. Or maybe even breaks based on the almost random denials of mount usage.

Meanwhile, we get these arguments about “immersion” and “class fantasy” that try to take things away from other players, or force players into the cities, or etc… all of which amounts to one player trying to control everyone else’s game time for their own selfish benefit.

I’m of the side that likes it. Mages were the only class that had it otherwise. Their niche is portals now, not just food.

Touch something in the open world and you can’t heal yourself right then and there because it was a mistake that cost a % of health?

Bam, full health, can try again without having to wait out natural regen.
