not only have the races been so intermingled at this point that at any point anyone of any race can approach any class and ask to be trained. Not allowing that also has deeply racists undertones by suggesting certain races just can’t DO certain things.

I agree somewhat as even the nost die hard races have exceptions. The Light is supposed to hurt undead but some of them found a way around it. Void Elves can be holy priests and lightforged can be shadow priests. Plenty of races can be priests or warriors but can’t be paladins for some reason.

Removing race/class restrictions would heavily go against the established lore. Some races and classes simply don’t go together, and there are legitimate reasons for it.

Gameplay always wins out over lore.
I think that all race/class combos should be allowed except for Tauren rogues as those are just silly.
It is not that they CAN’t do it, it is that they DONT WANT TO DO IT(see Draenei warlocks)
