Sitting around for too long queuing for groups in group finder with a constant stream of Declined, or no response.
It would be really handy if the “you can only queue for 5 groups” limit was removed, or the timer reduced to 1 minute, so that dps classes could queue for more groups and it might not feel so bad.
Or they could add the ability for dps classes to list groups also. Then, at the very least, they would have a group they couldn’t get declined from. They would just need to wait for a tank or healer to join them.
Why is it that dps players can’t list groups anyway?
So rather than have existing groups filled and people engaging in gameplay, we should make more groups and spread tanks/heals even more thin?
This isn’t a thing. The number of tanks and healers is uneffected by the number of groups.
Healers tend to pick groups that already have a tank and vice versa. So even the spirit of what you’re saying is incorrect.
How are tanks/healers relevant to you–a DPS–getting invited to any group? The leader is always going to be as selective as they want. Likewise, you can also try to make your own group and just grab the first players that want to go.
Existing groups are getting filled. That’s why you’re getting declined repeatedly.
Are you considering getting declined by 50 groups at a time instead of 5 to be “engaging in gameplay”?

There’s one tank and one healer per group. How much more thinly do you think they can be spread than 1 to 1?
