If you miss or cancel a queue there should be a reasonable (5 minutes?) timeout before you queue again. If you are truly AFK you won’t even notice.

Maybe one freebie every now and again but have it ramp up on repeated leaves. The system could also be applied to random battlegrounds to deter premades from sitting there dodging until they get put in the same one, circumventing the group limit.

Opposite request allow for queue auto accept especially in rated 2s/3s. Does anyone know of an addon that does this?
As if going to the bathroom while in Shuffle queue wasn’t already stressful enough.

I don’t think this is a good idea because some healers may queue by accident. I accidentally queued for solo shuffle and accepted the queue when it popped (which usually was instantly) multiple times in SL, because I was playing it so much and my brain was on auto-pilot.

No thanks. I’m sitting at my desk for 30 minutes needing to pee and the second I get up, queue pops. Life happens. If they want to give me a way to pause the queue that’s simple, then fine.
As is, they could just as easily track WHO is dropping queue consistently and deal with those accounts specifically.
What if "you have been returned to the front of the queue"just wasn’t a lie? I don’t care about queue misses if the 5 of 6 near miss after a 10 minute wait didn’t go on to cook for 15 more minutes before popping again
