Remove PVP servers from Classic WOW

PVP servers are just a joke now. They turn into 1 sided, single faction dominated servers in no time in classic.

Modern players do not have what it takes to play on a PVP server when their faction is at a disadvantage. No one wants to be the underdog anymore.

Just remove PVP servers and add war mode to PVE servers. That way people who want to PVP can enable it if they want, but ONLY in cities so it can’t just be turned off super easily.

Have PVP events like battle of hillsbrad on weekends around the world where entire zones turn into PVP zones.

Having the entire world PVP enabled (except starter zones) is terrible and makes the game worse. People just leave servers and segregate themselves on 1 sided servers so they don’t have to deal with it. It will never stop happening if it’s allowed.

No the dumbest thing is entire PVP servers with only 1 faction on them.

Go look at classic PVP servers.

They are jokes.

I played on Faerlina BTW on alliance.

Som servers were a joke though I agree. But typically people who run around pvping in large groups are trash at everything anyways

I think the pvp changes will help fix faction dominated servers now that everyone can semi rank

Who cares if one server wasn’t. Almost every single PVP server turned into a one sided PVE server.

I played on FAERLINA. The most heavily PVP oriented server in Classic on release.

You can’t tell me anything about me not wanting PVP.

I leveled 3 characters on Faerlina and 2 during P2.

Get on my level scrub.

It was great.

But the server went to garbage because zoomers can’t handle it. So it became 1 faction dominated.

Just like every PVP server will. It’s not worth having. People just want to chill in Classic and PVP when they feel like it not when some sweaty no-life rogue noob decides they had a bad day and wants to take it out on other people.

I levelled on Arugal in 2019 and it was really fun. The problem is once the majority have levelled and are in raids, then the server and the pvp exp goes down.

Lots of people want the fresh pvp experience for that levelling. Yes the servers always get ruined sadly, and I really like warmode on retail, but I’m not sure the classic playerbase at large is okay with losing that first month of the server exp.

For once I agree with Throwinhands. This is yet another terrible Frosstfire take.

He only played on Faerlina because he’s a massive streamer fanboy and watches them over playing the game most of the time.

This is because people roll on them who don’t actually want PvP servers, they just want the posterity of playing on a PvP server haha. That doesn’t mean they should be removed though. Some people genuinely enjoy that experience.

War Mode doesn’t really work out. Even with the incentives they had during BfA people only did it for the reward and then peaced out. PvP servers are a very specific experience that should be preserved!

Yeah so they serve no point. No one will play on them after a couple of months just like in original classic.

PVP servers serve no point and turn into PVE servers with 1 faction.

Just because some roll on PvP solely for posterity doesn’t mean all do. They absolutely have a point, just maybe not for you.

I agree that the eventual outcome of one faction “winning” the server is what is effectively a PvE server.

Is this about era or classic wrath? On era all the PvP servers being clustered seems really balanced actually so not sure where this is coming from.
