simple enough, phases shouldn’t exist in hardcore classic wow.
explain why they should or shouldn’t in here 
In my opinion, gearing up from ZG to progress into MC/ONYXIA makes complete sense, why be locked out of easier raids and be forced to do a harder one for 4 months in hardcore?
Petri Flasks have had an absolutely atrocious impact on the way hardcore WoW is approached and subvert very nearly the entire premise of the game mode. Dungeon groups drop party and Petri at the very HINT of a bad pull. In Mak’Goras players are just using a Petri AltF4 macro to cancel the duel if it isn’t going their way.
The best part of phased HC? No Petri Flask. At least, not for a long time.
Because this Fresh HC server is made to feed the Anniversary fresh. And we cannot have people leveling to 60, gearing and then transferring to Anniversary fresh with gear etc. that is unobtainable there.
I mean petri flask recipe will drop in phase 1 as well in the new servers so that doesn’t even make sense… and yes raiding in hardcore without petri would be insanity especially while phased the way it is (way worse gear going into MC), so again
what is the benefit between phased and not phased

my counter would just be, if you choose to play hardcore, your character dies permanently and you can take it to classic era OR it just remains a ghost forever.
Yup, but Kaiwax has told us that dead (or even alive) Anniversary fresh HC characters can go only to Anniversary Normal as opposed to Anniversary PvP, so there’s that. The verdict if they can go to Whitemane at all is still open.
For me, I like to save special runs as trophies

everything should be phased. it literally makes no sense to have the end of the game be beaten before the rest of the game.
but how? that’s how most things work… you level, gear up in one thing so you are able to beat the next thing? should you just get all the best gear asap? what’s the point in fresh server if you’re going to have the same gear week 1?
