remove pandemic invocation and replace it with a talent to extend dot duration when casting drain soul. This will significantly minimize the horrible gameplay we are facing right now and make the class a lot more fluid . Oh not even going to comment on the left side capstones. that needs some consideration soon !!!

no one is going to refresh dots at 4 seconds… NO ONE unless u have addons to help show when to cast or some bot program that does it automatically… ITS WORTHLESS no one uses not any top pvp warlock or pve

Dot timers have been a staple for optimal aff play since vanilla. I’d currently recommend the weakauras kalamazi uses. I don’t love pandemic invocation necessarily, but if they remove it they’ll need to buff shard gen or give us an better way to actively gen shards. Also, the PI window is the same as the window for the baseline pandemic dot extension. The talent literally just gives you extra stuff for what you should be doing anyway.

This is the problem with Aff and most of the game in general. WE should not need a addon to play a class or be reliant on a PI . 80% of the time in pugging M+ there is no priest as they are a dumpster fire in M+ as well.

I WANT to like Affliction … but after trying it out last week, managing 4 DoTs + Haunt + Shadow Embrace + Dread Touch is more than my old brain and reflexes can handle in a raid environment.
Used an addon to track DoT timing to TRY and get a benefit from Pandemic Invoc but it was honestly an extra level of chaos I had to ignore most of the time with everything else that was going on.

I’m with you there… but sadly there’s folks that when a spec is simple to play just call it ‘brain dead’ enough so that blizz changes it to an un-playable blob like AFf is rn…

Yes blizzard tends to listen to the wrong people way to much. When they say they have “learned and are listening to the player base”. Its really just streamers and professional players not the true reg player base.
AFF should not be punished for refreshing dots why moving out of the carpet bombing swirlies. Seems that’s all I do now
