I don’t know what it is with the developers. There’s such obvious problems with much of the content, and they won’t fix it. I’ve submitted so many bug reports and suggestions, which almost never get listened to.
Mythic Eonar still exists (Despite it being really easy. I don’t really understand why players struggle on it. Something needs to be done about it anyway).
Then today, I ran a Mythic Tomb of Sargeras for the first time. We just beat avatar, then everyone started leaving the raid for some reason. One player stayed. We get to Kil’Jaeden, and we wipe quite a bit. I of course have never seen a fight like this. I read the guide, and watched a video on how to solo it. The biggest issue seems to be surviving the damage, more than it is the mechanics, which is strange because the mechanics are really easy. Move to the purple (And prepare to launch to the next), and soak meteors. It is really easy. But not doable with two geared characters for some reason. I really don’t understand why players leave and ruin it for everyone.
Something needs to be done about these encounters. It’s stupid to have them exist, when players don’t even touch them. I also said in my group (I was leader), this is a ‘Full Transmog Run’. Please fix this.
They’re not going to remove an important boss from a raid. What? Asking for nerfs ok, specify which mechanic is the culprit. But flat out saying a boss has to be removed? LOL.
It’s not legacy content yet even though they ‘turned on’ the legacy loot option, we don’t have the legacy power boost you get by being 11lvls above the content.

I kill mythic KJ all the time. Rules I created to guarantee success when I run my raids on him:
- Be on one of my tanking toons so I know he’ll be tanked correctly.
- Start with a fresh raid.
- Do NOT go with any less than 10-15 players.
- Set the min ilvl to 420-430 to weed out the carries.
- Post in LFG that the raid is a mythic KJ kill. Everything else is secondary.
- Boot anyone who starts to complain about duplicate classes cause muh mog.
- Teach people the orb dance.
- Make sure you have at least 2 heals.
Despite doing this, I’m usually the only one left alive after darkness phase. But if I can survive till then it’s gg.

I’m confused… I’ve seen a lot of ‘remove X’ threads where X is something completely random that Blizzard will not remove and part of me is wondering if these threads are serious and the other is wondering if it suddenly became sunday while I wasn’t looking.
I mean I know days have been moving past quickly and I’ve been losing track of them but I was fairly sure it was Wednesday/Thursday right now…
OP, they will not remove an encounter from a raid. Yes, legacy loot is now enabled and so you can more easily get transmog items, but, and here’s the critical bit, Blizzard did not adjust those encounters to make them easier/soloable. So they’re going to hit hard, and if you try to do mythic bosses, especially bosses at the end of raids, you’re going to have a hard time if you just run in and try to faceroll your way to victory.

It’s not legacy content yet. Nothing will change about it until SLs
Is it Sunday already? Jeeze.

Lmaaaaaaaaaaaao! You really think they are gonna remove the final boss of a raid from the game?
It’s not bugged it’s mechanics and yes I myself have never done mythic Kil’jaeden either because just like Eonar there are complicated mechanics and most people leave after avatar because nobody wants to learn them.
I have run TOS a million times for different sets I wanted on characters and only a very few times has any of those groups even attempted KJ.
If you want to do KJ just like Eonar you will need a group that knows what they are doing.
they’ll nerf legion raids in shadowlands, it’s too early.
cool ru horde? i need a mkj kill for title my dps is 194 uh dk

I’m both. However the orb dance will still insta-kill the vast majority of players and unfortunately most have given up mythic KJ due to this. Hence why everyone bails after Avatar. That plus not many seem to run legion raids due to the borked SL scaling means it’s much harder to get a group going nowadays.
Could also simply be most have gotten the mogs they wanted by now too.
I know I don’t run a bunch because the loot still seems… meh. Just sucks doing a whole raid and getting some relics, doesn’t legacy loot usually start?
Legion raids already have legacy loot enabled. I believe blizz activated it in BfA. So earlier than usual. However, unlike SL raids, relics are part of the main loot table. Whereas in SL, conduits are not. They are on a separate loot table in addition to regular loot.
Oh that’s strange, I was thinking it would be more like WoD where you’d get like 4-5 things off a boss but when I did throne I was getting only one thing per boss so I assumed it hadn’t started.
Thanks for the info.
That is strange. Did you do it on a level 60?
OP, you should’ve done that fight when it was current. Most people couldn’t come close to getting to him but when he was current Mythic KJ was far and away the hardest boss the game has ever seen to date, with only Mythic Uu’nat potentially coming close.

I was… I was in a group if that affects legacy loot? Maybe someone else was just getting all the luck~
I usually do them all solo but the mythic stuff is rough!
