Main difference is that timers do not allow those people to learn while doing relevant content and spread toxicity that makes situation even worse. Suggestion to do keys +2-4 is a joke because you can get better gear from world quests. Again, if you enjoy timers - no one is going to take this experience from you. Use opt-in feature/rio/warcraftlogs/another third party leaderboard and compete if you wish so.
I’ve been trying like hell to do that, and I still fail. Not everyone is going to have the same skill cap.
Don’t listen to this gentlemen please and just enjoy a game as you would like to. It’s just a video game and it doesn’t worth your bad emotions. The only purpose of this post was that a new expansion is a nice opportunity to bring some attention to problems that lots of people have and I’m glad that you left your feedback here
And there it is. You want gear but you don’t want to get better. For someone who said who mythic raid you’re sounding pretty dumb right now. We all started at +2. Hell I failed +2s at the start of the xpac. Know the only difference between you and me? I got better while you whine in the forums.
To be fair 15s are made trivial mostly by corruption. How will a 15 feel in SL I wonder
failure is part of the learning process. We all have our set of fails. Just learn from it and try not to do it again. No one has not made mistake in this game. I have my fair share.
Edit: I’ve look at your IO and tbh you’re not doing too badly. I think just need to get more experience on other dungeons. But you timed a few 15s. Just keep at it. The more you do it the easier it’ll get
Dark Souls is an incredibly frustrating game, and that’s hardly due to poor design. Fail states are frustrating, that doesn’t make them bad.
If you’re having that level of anxiety, you might, and there’s no shame in that.
Yes, you can. Again, I cleared Heroic Nya without pushing Mythic+. You do not have to beat the timer to get the rewards.
It’ll be a s#!tshow 1st few months like always I’d say. Then we’ll learn the dance and we’ll be completing it w/ no real issue. Probably some balance changes here and there from blizz but that’s to be expected. I mean I remember just barely timing 10s on season 1
Getting started with +2 at the beginning of expansion and +2 in the middle/end of expansion is 2 absolutely different things. No one is going to try-hard +2-6 keys, people just drop because they don’t like it. That’s exactly what is happening.
Feeling stress because you are constrained by a timer is in human nature - you can and will make mistakes even if its your routine work/actions. He speaks about fear of failing his team because of a timer, not because the game is hard.
It’s tough with M+ because you rarely get another chance to correct and learn from it. You could go months without seeing the same dungeon and affix again. And even dungeons you’ve run before, you could easily forget something and die to it. It’s stressful because things just tend to straight-up oneshot you in those, and you get no opportunity to correct yourself.
I feel like I’ve been mostly carried in those.
Please check my IO on this toon. I have only started pushing this toon middle of the xpac. I did not automatically do 20s just because of my prior toon experience. I’ve regrinding it up as how it should be. Character progression. And guess what I’m doing 20s now.
There’s always that dungeon in looking for group. And to be honest best learning experience you’ll get is on there rather than a guild. Because people dont sugar coat when you screw up. They’ll let you know. I’ve pug alot and it made me a better player. And the dungeon really dont change even w/ affix. Just means some days you can’t pull hard and some day you can. Mostly the route doesn’t change alot as well except for teeming. Just keep a keen eye on what ever mob does. For mage I would also look at what you can spell steal. It’ll make you a really good part of a team. People will notice it.
Maybe. But maybe not. We’re your dps below your tank/healer? If not and you’re pretty close to the other 2 dps then I’d say you’re doing fine.
That’s the tough part of it for me. I have a hard time with pugging and only run with guildmates. Haven’t pugged anything since Legion. I know when I screw up and don’t need people calling me names and telling me to kill myself IRL on top of that. I am a pretty sensitive person and moments like that are day-ruiners for me.
I know lots of folks seem to be able to jump into whatever pugs they want and run 10 dungeons a day, but I can’t bring myself to do that.
Well no, in most cases I can say that I’m at least capable of DPS.
each their own bud. But if you never take the plunge you’ll never get better. And tbh unless you’re wasting people time and doing so much mistakes prior of the forums believes pugs aren’t as bad as they say it is. Yea there will be bad eggs here and there. But not as many as you think.
Gonna do a 15 FH on my hunter, will whisper you
No /10char
If you fail the timer that means you are not ready for that level of gameplay. Thats what the timer is for the bad taste in your mouth is called failure because your char/group/skill level is not up to par with the challenge you accepted. Its ok to fail get better try again
It adds difficulty. Which is probably why most people who dislike it, dislike it. It isn’t hard to complete a m+, it’s the timer that brings the challenge.
They don’t want that, they want easier than current with the same loot.
You dont want to read, you want to write.
