since bfa is the last expansion if you don’t upgrade to shadowlands you’re capped at 50 and in xp on games. you probably faced raid geared 50’s with 120 ilvl or better in some matches.
I actually just realized this. I ran a few more BGs with my brother at level 51 and I was much stronger. I didn’t realize that level 50 had its own bracket.

The level 60s PvP in this level range because people are scaled down. At level 60, you have to deal with those duelist geared players that are pretty much invincible unless you have just as much gear as them. The gap between fighting a scaled down level 60 in 50-59 bgs is much less of an issue than the power gap between battleground geared level 60s and those high rated level 60s.

Look if you can’t cut it in lvl 60 pvp. You shouldn’t be able to downgrade and go pick on lowbie brackets. This just seems like what terrible players do because they can’t be competitive in their own brackets.
you can blame the honor farm that is required to get gear at max level pvp.
Are these templates effected by gear in anyway? It seems like the few people who say they got “Blown Up” in lower brackets always start out with “Fresh 60” I’d be curious how it syncs me and a fresh rogue… I’d be up for this experiment if someone had a fresh rogue and a friend to sync with. Other than just curiosity this doesn’t effect me as I don’t sync.
When I was leveling hunter in very low brackets besides the overly obvious getting hit with cov powers I could tell the second I shot someone if they were synced…by me doing almost no damage and them 2 shotting me. This wasn’t the 50 bracket people talk about but blizzard is 100% bad a sync and templates so…
There is a reason these threads are littered with 404d Characters, just like the Twink threads of old. Worth taking a look.
Competition is back, and players who want easy honor farming are the loudest again.
Your gear doesn’t matter so long as each piece of your gear is above the ilvl you get scaled down to. I forget what the actual ilvl is for the 51-59 bracket, but let’s say it’s ilvl 100 - if you sync down and every one of your pieces of gear is over 100 you will have the exact same stats as a synced player with 225 ilvl.
Reasons players sync down:
-fresh level 60 with no gear. Don’t want to get one shot or be a massive hindrance to your team? Find somebody to sync down with
-play alts that you have 0 intention of gearing, getting renown, getting legendaries/covenants but still want to play
-want to be a bully in bgs and make people cry in the forums

To be fair. Every 60 doing 51-59 pvp. Are 100% dumb. You get way less honor in that bracket than the 60 bracket, even if you lose every 60 bracket game. You’ll get games so much faster at 60 bracket you’ll get faster honor just based on that. 51-60 I sit around 7-10 min ques. lvl 60 its 2 minutes, for a 7-10 min game. So if you want to be generous. At 60 you can get 2 losses for your maybe 1 win in 59. Which is more honor, but beyond that you get more honor per game at 60. Its just people who can’t cut it at 60 trying to dick with lowbies. Its nothing about farming gear.
With the emphasis on honor, brackets and cutting it, why are the 404s so upset?
People still whining about party syncers? Covenants abilities no longer work. Covenant soulbinds no longer work. You should probably just play hello kitty online if you’re still upset.

This is also perfectly fine because anyone who has leveled a 60 to max once can with alts have and use Covenant abilities from lvl 48+ by enabling Threads of Fate.
You can naturally get covenant abilities from lvl 48 onward after one max character, which means its fair for synced 60s to have covenant abilities in that bracket so that they are not at a disadvantage for available abilities.
