Removing layers would make it feel way more lively. Although I do like the free gathering nodes everywhere.

How would removing layers make it feel more lively? Everyone is in Maraudon and Stockades getting boosted by mages anyway. Even if you make it to 60, every second group has a human warrior ressing items due to their deluded entitlement, tanking with their 2h weapon in berserker. Server is done, time to move on.

I thought layers were created or removed automatically to match load. I’ve seen the NA PVE server go down to 2 layers on off-peak hours. I would assume the server would automatically go down to 1 layer if it was as dead as you say.
It seems to always be 3, regardless if midnight, 3am, 6am etc. If they were dynamic it would be fine
