We earned the mogs, we should be able to use them for more than a week or two a year. This is an easy win for opening up more player customization. Let’s make it happen Blizz. Allow holiday transmogs to be used year-round.

I’m questioning the use of the word “earned” and OP’s implication that a lot of effort was put into them (while understanding that they’re time-limited) that would justify seeing people run around in Christmas gear in May.
They do take time and effort. The level of effort is subjective to everyone, but it’s there. Some are drops from bosses, some you have to do dailies for, and some are crafted. You need an entire calendar year, to acquire all seasonal transmog.
Regardless, why do we have to “justify” using an earned transmog?
Why do players like to defend restricted access to others, when more open customizations improve the game in every way?

During years my garrison has jack o lanterns everywhere, but my character can’t transmog any of the holidays cosmetics…

Well, that’s one way to invalidate someone’s time and investment into a game in a very specific event in a specific time.

How many players use these transmogs during those holidays? Holidays that don’t receive proper updates from a company like Blizzard compared to other games like Overwatch… or other games in the industry.
I don’t notice anyone using those transmogs anymore, it will be better to let players use those anytime, so they can create more tmog sets and fun things any time of the year, they should even add more items for each holiday.

Putting in a plug for the gas mask in the Shadowfang Keep holiday dungeon being separated into 2 cosmetic items, a gas mask helm and the tanks as a back.
If you’re reading the forums you often see avatars using them.
On the forums while posting, some people change the tmog during holidays for one character that they use for posting that doesn’t mean that it’s being used in game for gameplay, i got into bgs and nobody used those tmogs or random dungeons.
I usually during xmas use the toy that put winter veil clothes to everyone so we can do some run with a xmas set but usually players don’t tmog to those and we already have things non sense like the Blizzcon yeti, let us use any part of holidays cosmetics at anytime.

Forums are a vocal minority and if you check other games from Blizzard like Overwatch, heroes of the storm allow you to use xmas skins anytime of the year, only WoW has this idea of limited time of the year, they try to replicate this sensation of real world when actually players try to escape the real world into a virtual world. we don’t need that kind of limitations in a game, that doens’t happened in other MMORPG and games with their customization

I like that holiday mogs are only usable in their respective dates. Sometimes I want to leave my Christmas lights up all year, but it feels more special when they’re up just for the holiday season.

Considering some of them take currency earned from the holidays or they’re random drops, yes, they were earned.
And you are more than welcome to only use them during the holidays! It wouldn’t invalidate your special feeling of using them if someone else you don’t know or see uses them some other time.

Yes, that’s why I said it.
I don’t care what someone else thinks, or care to argue. I was simply answering the question of the thread.
And we should split real world limitation with game limitations as i mentioned, some people only use costumes during halloween and that’s it, but a game could removed those real life limitations for players and allow them to use at any time, just like Garrisons don´t have that limitation and mine is always halloween for a character and other always xmas, there’s players like you that will only use those sets during the respective holiday but i think there’s also a lot of players that would like to use 1 piece or the entire set at any time.
Compared to other games that doesn’t limit players at all, i could go to heroes now and play with my Sylvanas xmas faire skin or OW and use Bastion Gift Box skin.
I can use all of my holiday outfits whenever I want on Rift!
