gravity goes off.
i fly around.
i hit the ground.
i get disconnected.
fix pls, i don’t need any extra help to lose matches to the horde, i’m fully capable of sucking without outside interference

my mate has that exact same bug! I don’t seem to have an issue but everytime he hits the ground, boom disconnection.
let me know if you find a resolution
nothing so far. a lot of people thought i was lying about it happening. it seems to happen about every third or fourth time i land after the gravity pops.
I’ve had it happen a couple of times, and at least once I recall I suspected it might be because I was targetting a player and mashing my Shadowstep button as I was landing when it happened. Were you just trying to land or maybe trying to cast while still in the air?
I have this exact same bug. Also happens often when I hit the ground gliding on my DH. It’s a big reason I literally don’t play my DH.

just trying to land. i get confused by the camera shifts so the gravity stuff is just something i endure til i get back to the ground and get my bearings again. like i said, i suck, i’ve just been trying to get one brawl done for the weekly quest so i can quit, but no luck.
I empathise, friend. Some advice if you haven’t tried this yet; stay inside a building like MT or BET when gravity is about to fail so you don’t get shot up. The downside is you’re basically a guard the whole game, but at least you won’t have to deal with the gravity annoyance.

It happened to me once. I shrugged it off and logged back in. Queued for that type of BG a second time - hit ground, got disconnected. Wrote the new BGs off the list.
I have had it happen several times myself. I doubt anything will happen until Tuesday since we are almost through this weeks cycle and gravity ends then as well.
Sometimes it’s an addon over taxing the client to the point of making it crash. I would advise to try playing it without any addon whatsoever enabled including ui addons like elvui. If it stops, then you know it’s one of them and the tasks becomes finding which one it is.
You still disconnect after gliding…This bug has been around since WoD!

happened to me a few times friday. my comp never crashes even in shards with multiple raids in it. it becomes a powerpoint shideshow but doesn’t crash 
Lost a game as Alliance because 3/4 of the team DC’ed when we hit the ground. Horde won by 1500 vs 50 points.
I was playing without addons.

it did it even with addons. i guess i’ll just not get a brawl this time around and never during a gravity lapse event.
HAHAHAHA, glorious!! The Alliance dogs will know the full might of spontaneously disconnecting

Add-ons might contribute to it, but they arent the cause of it.
The game has a problem if you interact with terrain at certain speeds or angles, while doing other actions and its default is to kick you.

This also happens in Island Expeditions. There is a item you loot off the ground that shoots you up in the air. I’ve used it a few times and it’s always DCed me.
I have had a “landing DCs you” issue for years, unrelated to this particular BG. Seems like about 1 out of 6 landings when using a goblin glider does it. Other landings as well, when you’ve fallen a decent distance - it also seems to be linked to trying to perform some action right as you land. Super irritating.

Yea this has been an issue years and years. Also effects fel rush for DH. Don’t think it’ll ever get fixed unfortunately.
