Remove Flying. It killed the TWW Leveling Experience

The answer is simple. Don’t fly!! You don’t have to, it’s your choice. Don’t try to ruin it for everyone else.

Not possible. OP lacks the self control to do that SIMPLE task.

Remove the forums.

No it didn’t. You are the only person on earth that thinks this.

I didn’t leave dungeons until 80.

I spent a bunch of time on my ground mount just for fun and immersion. You can try it any time you want to.

After I finished the campaign quests on the Isle of Dorn, and freed up the Coreway and then dove straight down into that tunnel, it was an awesome experience.

I usually prefer steady flight, but flying like a rocket down that tunnel is some of the funnest stuff ever to do in WoW.

In WoD, Blizz said they were removing flying from the game. WoD FAILED horribly and was not popular again til 6.2.2 when flying returned with Pathfinder. We’ve had it ever since. If you WANT another mass exodus, then continue this crusade. But when the world feels empty and the cities are barren, you can see the true fruits of your complaint. However, I speculate this is just click bait, so I will press on.

100% agree Blizzard!

Trying to gain a Trust level ruins my immersion of just enjoying the experience of posting!

Begon with this fowl creation.

Nobody is forcing you to fly. If your “immersion” was that important to you then you’d just never leave the ground. You choose to fly, you could just as easily choose not to.

INB4 : “But I cannot compete with other gatherers if I stay on a ground mount”.

People on these forums aren’t good with individual choices. They want constant changes in game to accommodate them alone.

Well, if you want to see how grand the world building is, take to the air and view it all from way high.

I have a fair number of issues with the way this expansion works, but the world building is very good in this expansion.

Yes, it does seem to be more about control than immersion, hehe. I get the part about having other players around, but at what point is it worthwhile to sacrifice someone else’s experience to suit your own?

I think they tried that in WOD.
Something happened, but I can’t remember what…

Running around doing quests puts you at a huge disadvantage to players like me who spam dungeons and get to max level in like 3-4 hours.

I think what OP meant was: “Remove pathfinding because it’s dumb and annoying, just let people fly because flying is awesome.”

Hey at least pathfinder was available on Day One and was probably completed the moment you hit 80 if not sooner.

I’ll gladly take that over a .2 patch and 2 month rep grind.

ok if op wants flying to go away then we need to go to the dungeon entrance and hoping someone else follows and use the summing stones. locks need to get soul shards again for portals ect

i got it done at 76 or 77
