There are roads and paths in most locations that will get you where you need to go. Sometimes, this will be time consuming.
And your response is a low iq rebuttal because tell meā¦whats the disadvantage? Someone beats me to level 80? Who cares if I get there a day later.
To be fair, thatās the way the majority of us play.
If one path leads down a fun, engaging experience and the other goes down a fast efficient path but they both lead to the same thing, youāll see a congaline of players sprinting through the efficient path and cancelling the Cutscene at the end.

If you dont want to fly, use a ground mount.

I do think they should not allow flying until after completing the campaign once.

Yeah thatās true, but only when you still think the end of the tunnel is the dopamine hit and not the path to the end.
The second you realize you enjoy the journey more than the reward, why skip and why rush?
Iām firmly in the camp of the end of the tunnel these days. I want to get into m+ and thatās the only game mode I enjoy. Pushing pug keys. So I zug stuff down personally. All the flying. All the skips. Quest text be darned.
Or the game designers can get their heads out of their butt and stop putting convience features in that ruin the fundamental gameplay loop of the game.
Because its common sense.
Imagine if you could just fly in Elden Ring or the Witcher. The game would suck.

Buddy I have 12 wives and 86 kids, I canāt be bothered to play a role in a role playing game, nor do I care for interacting with other characters in a massively multiplayer game

Hereās the thing, it didnt ruin anythingā¦ And, its been made clear that a MAJORITY of players want to have flying available to them day one, and given how the world is designed in a layered/3d way now days to increase map sizes its needed.
The new zones are very large in comparison to old ones so land mounts no longer make sense
Okay imagine id you could just turn on a cheat to go through walls in world of warcraft.
